and when i say God i meant the God who sent Jesus:

Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.John 7:16

Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.John 7:28

Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me John 7:33

Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. John 8:42

so dear christians, when will you praise God (the one who sent him) more than you praise Jesus? when will you thank God more than you thank Jesus?

Jesus is God in the flesh and I praise the Trinity

I am not a Christian, but I've read a lot by them and about them. The best defense of the Trinity that I've read is by Dorthy Sayers. She uses analogy, of course, and compares the doctrine of the Trinity with an author. An author gets an idea (God the father) he/she does not really know where the idea comes from and does not fully understand it until he/she begins writing (the idea transcends the story). As the story is written, it takes on a life of its own and the author cannot just write anything or it would be gibberish. The author comes to a place in the story where it would make sense to the plot to write him/herself into the story. The author, while still being outside the story writes a character into the story (this would be Jesus, second person of the trinity). The author has the character act and do exactly as he/she would and what happens to the character will depend on the story being written; the idea. Finally, you read the story and it means something to you. The author has communicated a message to you in some manner. The message is the holy spirit. Dorthy Sayers was a friend of C.S. Lewis and she wrote some decent mystery novels as well as some Christian apologetics.

Well you have to understand this. "Christians" believe that Jesus is the only way to get to heaven. You have to go through the son to get to the father. They believe that the only way to save one`s soul is to accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior. This stems from the death of Jesus. Since, Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins then we must accept Jesus as our lord and savior to get to heaven. They also believe that man cannot praise God directly. The only way to Praise God is to Praise the son he sent "Jesus" to save mankind.

Personally I never really understood the trinity. I think worshiping Jesus is like worshiping a man. But they contend that Jesus is apart of God, a part of the trinity?

by way of fact Christianity revolves around "Jesus Christ" as their God... no longer "God". by way of fact the asserting is going, Jesus and God are one and the comparable, in accordance to Christianity. in spite of the undeniable fact that, no depend how plenty you may still attempt to teach the Holy Trinity, it would not make experience, and it would not paintings. additionally, it is not even biblical. The Trinity is an invention got here across via Paul and pointed out via the Church, destroying the only concept of the "One authentic God" of the previous testomony.
