Regardless of how you look at it. The "devil" is evil. He is also miserable and he wants as many souls as possible to share in his misery. The punishment does NOT come from the devil or Satan. The punishment is not being able to spend eternity in the presence of our Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ.

God isn't the one who sends bad p[eople to the devil. God doesn't force anyone to do anything. People have thier own choses to make, it's the people themselves that chose whether or not they want to serve the devil or not. Hell is a place of torment, the devil just tries to get people to go along with him so they will perish forever. He is pure evil. If you read the Bible it will tell you alot about the fight between good, and evil, and you'll learn why the devil is evil. :)

God doesnt send people to hell they send themselves there by not doing the works of God
the devil is bad because he wanted to be above God and he knew he shouldnt and so he was sent to hell and bad people as you want to call them go there but you get saved and trust in him and you wont go to hell and if you would like to get saved anyone churches and many people like me on the boards help so that "bad people" wont get sent to hell

Read the Bible before asking
God does not send people to the devil, the devil will burn in hell too... the devil is not yet in hell.
God rewards and God punishes, just like I reward my child and discipline her as well

This question makes very little sense to me. Since for a person to be bad in the first place is due to sin and sin came into the world and mankind through satan's temptation of eve . To make him out to be some lamb is totally unreasonable. He is the source and father of Lies and every abominable thing known to man. Dont' let him fool you into pitying him or seeing him as some victim or nice person.. HE IS NOT

How good question...they definitely seem to have some kind of cooperation:-)
If I think it further, God created us to be unperfect and vulnerable to sin ON PURPOSE, also some body parts that we are almost never allowed to use, and this sexdrive thing, which makes us think of what we are not supposed to....HOW MEAN WOULD IT BE...one of the good reasons to question the whole story, dont you think?

well in MY MIND....... satan is the antagonist of god... or thats how most people see him as. satan tempts people with sin so that he can have them in hell with him... while god accepts those of innocence/purity/ his followeers/ ect. however, those who (whatever the circumstances) arent pure enough to enter the kingdom... they are forced to hell as punishment. its not as if the only reason satan exists is to be the gate keeper for evil souls.... he used to be an angel of god. why he is actually in existance is impossible to tell... its hard enough to tell your own purpose in life. the devil isnt doing a "good deed" by taking the tainted souls... he wants them... and the "tainted souls" rejected god and the kingdom. its almost as if people who go to hell punish tehmselves by not believing or not wanting to enter the kingdom.... but yes satan is definately evil... for he is responsible for the sin in this world.
i ranted a crap load and this is all coming from somewhere in my head... hope i didnt sound stupid.....
bestof luck in finding an answer

Good question. Neither exists. But if they did, I would think the devil would be going against his own beliefs to punish people who identify with him. Perhaps a Christian could enlighten us. But, I wouldn't count on it.
