It's the excitement, I guess.
But lots of people lead good, pure, ethical, moral lives and reap the benefits of it. The morally challenging things which tempt us offer immediate gratification. Leading a good life is fun and productive, but the benefits of it are more long term.
In short, it comes down more to emotional maturity than it does to some bogus biblical claim that we are born into sin.
One doesn't have to be born again. One just has to grow up a little.

Well for one thing, being good is anything but boring....it can be very challenging, but never boring....
but to answer you question.....why do some people think as you do....Satan makes sure that being bad SEEMS fun, but it is a lie and will eventually do you harm..."live by the sword-die by the sword" and all of that...too bad if you really feel this way about life.....,but alas, it seems more and more people agree with you, especially young ones.

If God were your Father, you wouldn't be bored. The Joy of the Lord would be your strength. From your point of view, you are correct. To enjoy the Lord God, one must become a new creature.
If you continue to follow the enemy, your bedfellows will include drugs , jail , failed marriages, alcoholism. Infidelity and worse, But you won't be bored.
To follow and surrender to God. This boring life will yield a loving spouse who will be true, Children who respect you. Strong family.that is in this world, better in the next.

Evil is more interesting. John Milton wrote "Paradise Lost" to express his love for God through a poetic vision of the Fall of Man. However, the great irony of this work is that in writing Satan as a character, he created one of the first great antiheroes of literature. Milton may have loved God, but his complex and well-developed figure devil shows he found Satan far more interesting. See below:
Which way shall I fly
Infinite wrath and infinite despair?
Which way I fly is hell; myself am hell;
And in the lowest deep a lower deep,
Still threat’ning to devour me, opens wide,
To which the hell I suffer seems a heaven.
Paradise Lost. Book iv. Line 73.
So farewell hope, and with hope farewell fear,
Farewell remorse; all good to me is lost.
Evil, be thou my good.
Paradise Lost. Book iv. Line 108.

LOL, cool question. I'd say it's because most "good" or "bad" definitions come from others, who we assume have our best interests in mind. "Bad" can be fun cause often we are following our desire, passion, or joy when doing so, which are meant to be our guides. Namaste
