I tried lobster once. It was like chewing on a salty tough rubber band. YUCK. I dont do seafood or pork.

There are not very many Jews in the US who follow all of the kosher laws, so therefore, a lot Jews have eaten some sort of shellfish including lobster.

Some Jews have indeed eaten lobster, just as some Muslims have drunk whiskey, and some Catholic priests have had sex.
That an act is prohibited does not ensure that all those who may not do it actually refrain from doing so.
But shellfish are indeed among the foods that a Jew is forbiddden to eat.

Lobster is very over rated. Now breaded shrimp, deep fried, Yum, Yum.
And I am having pork chops tomorrow.
