The Bible is full of God's mercy which overcomes justice. Those who choose to believe and follow God's Way are forgiven. On judgment day, all of their sins are removed as though they never committed them...He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. The key operative on our part is to truly repent!
"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. "
"But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
"But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless to repentance."
"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. "
Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

These are only a few from the New Testament....
God already paid the price, we just need to accept Him. If we don't accept, we bear the full brunt of our sins on that final day...judgment day.

God has already forgiven our sin when Jesus died for each and every one of us. The problem is many people do not even believe that Jesus existed, let alone died for them. Just think of it this way (this is a general analogy not specific to you)...A father (who you do not yet know) saves your life by giving the life of his only son. He loves you enough to do that for you and your response is not one of gratitude but of disbelief and hostility. How do you think you would react if you were that father? Would you get bitter and wish that you would've never wasted your time? Would you have regrets? Would you want to punish the person? I'm sure almost everyone of us would say yes to at least one of those, but God doesn't. God has been patient with those who still don't even believe He exists. He is patient with those who He continues to bless despite their animosity towards Him. He has even been patient with you personally. As for demanding justice I believe He has every right to burn us all into nothingness right this moment b/c of the way that society has become more and more selfish and unkind. BUT I'm so glad that He is merciful and forgiving enough not to do that. He has every right to demand justice b/c He created us and we belong to Him, but again He shows us grace and love even when we make mistake after mistake after mistake. It's amazing to me how so many people cannot/refuse to see how much God has done for them in their own lives...just amazing.

Jehovah God does forgive sin. In a big way he forgives sin. And this is a good example for us, that we should forgive freely as he forgave us for our sin. But what if the sinner keeps repeating his sins; thinking in his heart. God will forgive me anyway. would that be justice?
Hebrew 6:4-6 says this; For it is impossible as regards those who have once for all been enlightened, and who have tasted the heavenly free gift, and who have become partakers of holy spirit,  and who have tasted the fine word of God and powers of the coming system of things,  but who have fallen away, to revive them again to repentance, because they impale the Son of God afresh for themselves and expose him to public shame.
God does forgive. But as for those who unwisely take advantage of God's compassion are the ones who will be judged.

God can just forgive sin if you come to Him and ask for it. He is also a just God so it would pay to be on His good side.

God is love; therefore, God does not recognize sin. Where do you get "demanding justice?" You've been listening to too many negative evangelists.

God forgives every day and has forgiven every day. It is part of demanding justice.

You really need to brush up on your religion, God forgives sin when sin is asked to be forgiven. Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, hence he forgives us.

GOD'S JUSTICE

Do you really trust God as the sovereign Judge of the earth? You may not understand why He orders the world the way He does, but do you trust Him? You may even question, why certain things are the way they are in your own life, but do you trust His direction? You may not comprehend why He has ordained some to salvation and passes by others, but do you willingly bow to His judgment?

The flesh will always raise its fist and cry “Unfair.” Just try being the referee or coach of a game. Spectators and players alike will voice their discontent, and repugne your character if your decision does not fit their perception. This attitude bleeds into every area of life whether children vs. parents; employees vs. employers; citizens vs. the government, etc. As humans, we fail because of our sin. Our failures may cause others to question our judgment, and rightly so. Yet God is trustworthy, He is God, and His justice (righteousness or holiness) is the essence of His character. Abraham understood this, even as God revealed to him that He would destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. He said, “Shall not the judge of the earth do right?” Genesis 28:25. God is right in all He does.

Some things are right because God ordained them, and others, God ordained because they are right! This is true whether it involves the salvation or condemnation of sinners; whether He ordains life or death, health or disease; poverty or prosperity.

God’s justice is incorruptible because He is holy and therefore His judgments are untainted by sin, Deuteronomy 33:4.
God’s justice is impartial, because He acts always according to the truth, and not based on feeling and emotion as do His creatures, Jeremiah 32:19.
God’s justice is unfailing and unchanging. Time nor circumstances will ever change His purpose, Job 8:3. JUSTICE IS THE HABITATION OF HIS THRONE–Psalm 89:14.
Consider how this is a great comfort to believers in Christ. Our salvation is the result of a JUST satisfaction of the unflexible justice of God. In the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s justice is satisfied on behalf of those who believe by God’s grace. Our Lord perfectly obeyed the LAW and suffered the penalty that God might be just in justifying His people. There is THEREFORE, no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, and JUSTLY SO! Romans 8:1ff.
