Personally, I hold no definite idea about what will happen to me after I die. To assume that I would be transported from this existence to a better one or a worse one would be as foolish as assuming that tomorrow I would either win the lottery or become homeless. Nobody, not one human being, knows what will happen to them after they die. Sure, there are diehard athiest who insist they will just disappear. And there are diehard religious people who insist that they will go to heaven (They never believe they'd go to hell for some reason). But think of this.... those athiests were taught, through direct or indirect methods, that there was nothing to await them after death. And those religious folks were told that there definately were two places they could go to. Don't you find it unusual that these two different types of people insist that they are right when neither group has had firsthand experience? We learn to believe what we're taught. And in time we sometimes throw away teachings for anothers teachings or personal ideas. For me, there are no gods. And there are no demons. No heavens. No hells. But as for what would happen after I die? Where would I go or what would happen to my soul or consciousness? I just can't say, because I have never died and come back. And as for those who HAVE died and come back and say they went somewhere... I find it odd that each person who's had a near death experience (nde) sees what they've been taught to believe. You'll never hear of a muslim saying they saw jesus christ and god. You'll never hear a christian say they saw the buddah. You'll never hear an indian say he saw kali or vishnu. They all see what they were taught that they would see. The christian see jesus, the muslim sees allah, the indian sees the winds and nature spirits. I could go on, but I hope this gives you an idea of my belief that you asked about.

My view is that there are a lot people who claim to know for certain what happens, but none of them can agree on what it is. None of them have any proof, just a bunch of "scripture" that frequently contradicts itself. So, I think it's a waste of time to worry about it, and I choose to live a life that isn't concerned about what happens in the next world, but rather how I act in this world.

All that remains is what you imprint on people or create, I hope to see it as rest when it approaches. I see my views as more virtous then heaven, a desire for heaven is greedy and a childish fear of dying. It takes a lot of guts to say there is no justice after death.

It'll be exactly the same as turning off the light as I die.
Once there was SOMEthing and then there was NOthing.
KISS
Going off to live for eternity in TOTALITARIAN regimes like Heaven or Hell is to scare or reward children.

when you die, you die, the end. no soul, no afterlife, nothing.
i do think however, that you continue to influence others after your death. i believe that everyone is connected and your actions affect others, who in turn affect other people and so on and so forth, so that even 100 years from now, you're still affecting people, whether they know it or not.

The loss of existence penalty is hypocrisy. somebody, yet another individual, murders the criminal. that doesn't make experience. The executioner is consequently purely as, if not greater so, responsible of premeditated homicide. The message this sends is ludicrous and barbaric. No ask your self it does not paintings. It does not give up somebody from killing, raping, or molesting a baby, that's basically a "criminal" homicide. I have not have been given any faith, faith is for people who can not or won't think of for themselves, or provide area of themselves, a faith, in a G-d which will take care of and forgive them. i don't knock different's religions however. people have a stunning to prepare their faith as long because it does not harm others. I certainly have morals, severe ones, yet do not choose faith to tell me stunning from incorrect. I trust one theory, and if anybody else did to, we does not have choose for prisons, or wars and that's "Do unto others as you may have them do unto you." In different phrases, cope with others such as you elect to be dealt with. That is going for in case you do some thing stupid or "evil" anticipate to be pronounced as on it, yet not killed. i think not effortless criminals; serial killers, baby molesters, and rapists could be utilized in scientific learn how to pay lower back society fairly of spending money on 3 and a cot, and a huge style of appeals. basically to be permit loose lower back, to do it lower back. this could thwart greater criminals than the loss of existence penalty, plus it is going to help society plenty greater desirable than killing them, and could save the guy whose activity it rather is from killing yet another individual. And/or provide their organs to somebody who needs it. What a waste to kill a healthy individual, without permitting using healthy organs that would desire to save an harmless existence. that would desire to be the authentic which potential of "a look ahead to a watch", make it a "existence for a existence".

Oh, reading these answers makes me sooooo sad! It would have to be so depressing to have no hope. Even if I wasn't sure I would rather believe in something with hope than nothing. Jesus is truly the answer and has eternal life to give to us. I just HAVE to tell you that!

Remember what it was like a hundred years ago? It's exactly like that.
This scares some people so much they make up stories about a magical fairy granting people eternal life.
We call these stories "religion".
