Yes dont eat sugary or fatty foods
which is free!
otherwise take vitamin A vitamins (because the vitamin actually starves the bacteria that causes acne)
and to get a little more expensive (if you really want to rid your acne) is ProActive ; cleanser, toner and moisturiser
and to get medical about it, there are medications you can get from your doctor that even out your hormones and thus, radically improves acne
combining all these is a surefire acne killer

Your problem is your body is too acidic. You need to stay away from carbonated drinks because they form carbonic acid acid in you. Avoiding stuff with corn syrup or sugar in it is also a big help.
The home remedy is to go to a druggist and ask for a pint (they may want to sell you a quart because it is so cheap) of limewater. A mom-and-pop druggist is better than the large commercial ones who may tell you they don't have it.
Of course they don't have it - - there's no money for the Big Pharma corporations in it. BP's sell acne remedies that are all the same - - a cleanser with an antiseptic. This, of course doesn't treat the cause, just the symptoms. Since they don't work, that is where the big money is. It's like using a collander to bail out a boat without first plugging the hole.
Limewater is essentially a saturated solution of chalk in water. It tastes like a blackboard, but it does the trick. Just put a tablespoon of it into your morning milk or orange juice and you'll never taste it.
Two weeks or so later (depending on the condition of your body acid) you will notice a reduction in your acne which will continue until it is gone. This treatment is also good for boils. That's how my family discovered it. I was getting treatment for a boil and my acne went away. All my siblings used it in later years.

Yes, take FLAXSEED OIL... It worked for me. You should see results in a week or two, but keep taking it. It will improve your skin. I know because I've had an acne problem since I was a kid, and I tried this, and all of a sudden my skin cleared up.

all i can use on my face is johnson's and johnson's baby body wash, its not harsh and wont make you break out any further, then if your face gets dry, apply a teeny bit of johnson's and johnson's baby lotion, its all very cheap, and you can scrub the hell out of your face without having to worry about breaking out from the chemicals! good luck!! if that doesnt work, try proactive, it works really well, but is expensive, try the baby stuff first!

Nope had it as a kid stays with you to the 20s. Sorry to be so blunt. Some scarring to this day.
Just suck up and deal with it for now.
