mk so theres this boy that i reaaaally reallly like and he really like me too. we hang out a lot and all this stuff. but he is a lot older than me. like 5 years. his friends are really nice to me and they excepted me into there group of friends and all. and hes talked to many of them because he feels its almost not right. but he said he cant lose me. becuase he likes me way to much. and i feel the same. some of his friends call him a "cradle robber" and stuff. but some of them of think that we should just follow our hearts and be together. but some say not to do it. they say im too young and stuff.
what would you sayy.?
because we both really like eachother and we dont know what to do...

How old are you?
If he is is 19 and you 14 he could end up in jail. That's what following his heart can get him. But if both of you are over 18 then why not date and see how it gos.

It does depend on how old you are because if you are under 16 and he is in his 20 that could be a problem. We all believe we are mature when we are young. I think once you get over 16 or 18 the age gap should never matter. He could be 20 years older then you as long as you both love and respect each other. Remember a relationship is on equal terms.

It depends upon YOUR age if he is in fact a cradle robber. Hopefully you are both over 18...and if so, dont worry about what anyone else says or thinks. Now if hes 18 and you are not yet there, then yes, he is a cradle robber because he can actually go to jail wanting to be with you. Why are you gonna worry about what people think anyway? If you two are that hot for one another, then go for it.

I can't answer properly because you never gave YOUR age.
If you are saying 5 years is a lot older then you that leads me to believe you are to young to be going out with him.
If he is saying it is almost not right and some of his friends are calling him a cradle robber then there is a problem.

If you are both over the age of 18 then age doesn't really matter. However, if you are a minor, then he is way too old for you. I suspect you are a minor. I hope your mother knows what you are doing because you really need some parental guidance.

It really depends on how old you are. A 5 year difference at 30 is nothing. A 5 year difference at 13 is a great big deal!!!!

I think if your both legal age to be on your own then age does not matter, but if your under the legal age and he is over or even legal age just hang out, be friends, do not rush into things, but if you are both legal age then age is just a number and his friends will have to learn to deal with it and move on with there lives as a friend.

Hunn, age isn't anything but a number i went out with a guy that was a lot older than me, my friends and family didn't approve of it

well my best friend is dating a guy who is 4 years older than her. when they first started going out me and all my friends were like um... what are yoiu thinking.. but after a few weeks we saw just how in love they were, so they didnt care what people thought and neither should you.
