Can a white person join the North korean military?

I think that the People's Army would look upon such an attempt as 'suspicious' at the least. I don't know if you have heard the news, but North Korea is what's as known as 'isolationist'. I know thats a big word...but I'm sure using the wealth of resources available on the 'internets', you can find out what that means. It's only been like that in the DPRK for say..I dunno...over FIFTY years, perhaps??!!!

So basically, they would either see such a desire as either some half-baked espionage attempt or look at you as someone who is obviously mentally unstable, and therefore not much of a candidate for useful military service.

But I could be wrong....maybe they have an opening in the 'live target' department. It might be worth looking into....although the prospects for advancement may be limited.

North Korea is a communist country, and even if someone wanted to join it, that would mean that they would also be communist. They already hate America, so why would someone want to join the North Korean military?
