well I'm not living with my parents right now but I'm hap ply married now and when i lived with my parents i had a problem with anger and it caused a lot of problems with my relationship with my parents but i have gotten a lot better since and i give all the credit to one person which this may sound silly to you now but it worked for me my wife and i started to go to Church out of the blue i thought it would be a waste of time but let me tell you it has worked I'm so happy to be with my wife and child and the lord has helped me through it, it is amazing the difference you'll see and your relation between your parents and friends becomes even stronger just remember God works in very mysterious ways the fun thing is we yell at God when things go so wrong but when great unbelievable things happen we seem not to thank Him for it! Go Figure. But maybe your parents and you could try but my suggestion is you and your family try finding a Church and you may not find the one that suites you the first time but i go to an Assembly Of God Christian Church and i love it and if you do not have the money to tide don't worry Please don't let that discourage you. Good luck and God Bless I Will Pray For You And Your Family

I would really like to know who controls your speech, your anger and your movements? Do you, or does someone have a control box hitched to your brain. You said you don't know how to stop. What have you done in attempt to learn self control? It appears that nothing will happen until you want something to happen. It's YOU that is control, and don't blame anybody else but yourself. Do you want to stop acting like a delinquent, or do you really care about your parents? TRY and do something nice and simple, like thanking them for something they have done for you. That isn't hard is it? Saying thank you for something they give you. If you have any feelings for them at all, and stop being so difficult and selfish, you can do anything you put your mind to do. Your making excuses, and your not really able to find out why YOU want to be this way. Is it for attention? Do you want to be in the spotlight all of the time? Only YOU can answer these questions. Once you make up your mind, then and only then will you be able to be nice to your family. You have to care and love yourself before you can show the same affection to anyone else. Good Luck, I hope this is some food for thought, and you at least TRY.

I have almost the same problem but instead of making things bad for my folks I make things harder on myself and I have been asking this same question myself for a long time.
It all is in how you look at things. Try just doing small things first. Don't try to fly before you can walk. Things will get better but you have to really try to make them that way.
Let me tell you on of the most frustrating days of my life is the day I woke up one morning and realized my parents knew what they were talking about.
I think therapy is a good start.
Good Luck.

its called respect my dear!!!!!!!why don't you respect them?if you respect and love them?you would treat them-like gold, many kids don't have parents, who should have-responsibility over animals, let alone a child.just think about what you could have and be very thankful your parents love and care about you.i sure hope this makes you look at your parents in a different way and that you would get some smarts and treat them right. good luck and god bless you my dear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that's what the counseler is for. always remember though, treat others as you would want to be treated and when in doubt, don't do it.
