We are intrigued by what is different than what we know to be "normal", and I used quotes on purpose. Please, no offence meant to anyone.

Come to the dark side!

Being curious and questioning is your first step in uncovering (& recovering from) the myth of religion.

Religion is nothing more than the story of the "Emperor wearing no clothes"*, "Most frequently, the metaphor involves a situation wherein the overwhelming (usually unempowered) majority of observers willingly share in a collective ignorance of an obvious fact, despite individually recognizing the absurdity"

Yes all mankind has this nature it started with Eve in the Garden story, it doesn't really matter how much good there is in the world for some reason we are attracted to forbidden fruit.Genesis 3:6
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

I'm obsessed with studying atheism and whatnot. I didn't know anything before I started reading and studying, and now not only do I feel smart, but I feel I have a pretty good grasp on being able to defend Christianity against such preposterous claims.

Some people wonder what it's like to be in other peoples shoes there is nothing wrong with that and sometimes by asking and talking it can help you understand things about yourself better and change you in better ways. Why ask why you are like that and just embrace it.

hey, what are you exactly curious about?? pagans or atheists. pagans aren't atheists. im not originally pagan but i study religions and its one of the most interesting ones ive ever studied. I practice it once in awhile, even though I believe in god. its not evil, its just everyone believes in something different.

I also prefer to engage unbelievers such as atheists because I used to be one. If youre a believer like I am, Im glad youre reaching out to them because we have to for Christ.

I guess you are just curious and like to learn new things.Plus it helps you defend your beliefs if you know about others.
