How do YOU say "ouch"? (to express pain)
How is it said in different languages? eg. in french they say "aii" in japanese it's: "itai" and in english it's "ouch"
(please include how it is pronounced) Thanks!

In Hmong it's, "Uab!" Prounounced oouaah! You can also say it the same way the Chinese do...since many Hmong words are identical to Mandarin. Mien say it similarly to Hmong as well, but I don't remember how to write in Mien.
I believe my Laotian friends would say "jyep"...but I don't write Lao either.

ouch, to make it sound like you are in a lot of pain they put in the loud "ow" and the harsh "ch". It some what has a rich sound to it. But that isn't the point. They probably made it sound rich that way so that if your in pain or something dangerous happened, it would be an alert and could be heard from a distance.

If the pain is just minor, I say "Ouch!" through gritted teeth. Or squeal. If the pain is severe, I say "Ooooooch! OoochOoochOochOoch!"

well im an arab and i dont say it as ouch. sumtimes i say aakh. that means ur in pain in arabic. but since i was pretty much raised here then i usually just say ow or ooh.

in spanish u say ow! pronounced like owl without the L
or AY! pronounced "eye"
