I'm thinking about driving up to Canada some time next year after I finish college. But I also want to see New Zealand too. It's hard for me to decide where I want to go since It's so hard to get any vacation time esp. as I get older. I live in Los Angeles. I would like to drive to all the Major Canadian provinces including Quebec, Ontario, BC, Sask, Manit, New Brun, Prince Edward Island, and so fourth. I do love road trips.

On the other hand I want to fly to Auckland. Rent a Holden Commodore and drive around Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Duniden, North End, etc. I want to take one of those scenic train rides in New Zealand.

I just can't decide where I should go first. I wish I could see both but I just don't have the time.

Which Country should I visit? Which one has the best foods? Which one is prettier to tour?

What would you recommend?

Although I have to agree with the person that said if you have the funds to do the farther one, do it now, as a Canadian I say "come on up!"

I live in Nova Scotia and you can NOT leave that out of your trip... it's the second smallest provinces but it's absolutely beautiful. All of Canada would be really great to visit, but to see all the major provinces would take you at LEAST 5 weeks, and that's if you only stopped in major cities. It's really worth it to hit the little towns in between and see the scenery.

As for the best foods and which is prettier to tour, I really don't think you could compare the two. They're both so different.

If you decide on Canada, feel free to contact me and I'll give you a list of "must-see" places. I myself have only been as far west as Ottawa, but I've seen pictures and video of a lot of the western parts, and it's all so beautiful. And if you ever make it to Nova Scotia, I can plan out an itinerary for ya of anything at all that you'd like to see or do.

Can ya tell I'm proud of where I live? ;)

Canada is a great, distinctive usa, and each corner has some thing to work out. that's appropriate relies upon very a great deal on what you like. as an occasion, in case you have by no potential been to Europe, then Quebec city is an stunning determination. that's totally previous, historic, previous shaped, romantic, and beautiful. that's totally very comparable to an previous eu city. in case you like wasteland, then BC, or Yukon is s great determination. Yukon has eye-catching environment, and hardly ever any people. in case you adore huge open areas, then the Prairies are great. Rugged coastline? The Maritimes. etc... many judgements. Canada is ethnically distinctive besides. We devour greater hamburgers than everybody else in the international, yet, you will locate "ethnic" food enormously surely, even in small cities. Lunch is generally around midday or so. At one time, lunch became into the huge meal (dinner is lunch in aspects of Canada nevertheless), yet, it is changing over to supper. Canadians tend to devour supper particularly early: fro 5-6pm or so. As for snacks, and espresso time, properly Tim Horton's is almost a company right here. you will locate them almost everywhere.

I'd recommend Canada, because I live here, & it's closer.
You say nothing about the expense involved, I hope you're rich. Driving will take 3 days to get to Canada. Getting across from the west to east coast will take 6 days.
But you'll probably want to make a few stops to visit.

If you have the time and funds to visit the farther destination, then you should do that now. Canada will be easier later, when you maybe have spouse and children. Make the most of being a single traveler while you can. These opportunities may not come again. Enjoy.
