When one meditates using Transedental Meditation the third eye can be seen. You do not have to be a zen buddhist to do this. I personally believe that some scriptures from the Bible are holding back or retarding us from becoming more in tuned within ourselves. I have been practicing Transedental Meditation for almost 18 years now. I also believe that Man wrote the Bible.....& many of them were one sided, narrow minded & arogant individuals who intentionally swayed people into believing their way was the right way.

Buddhism doesn't open the third eye, it simply acknowledges that it can be opened. Those who do so, know the truth of it, those who don't can't.
