nope. they also think that becoming a Christian suddenly makes us these perfect people who are never going to mess up or act dumb, ever again. then, they run to call us hypocrites or losers when we fall short of the Christian measurements they carry in their heads.
and then when some weirdo somewhere does anything that is weird and disgusting, ALL Christians were somehow involved or had knowledge of what the weirdo was up to.
how refreshing it would be to have these people actually read a bible (especially the "scholars") and understand the message of Christ, even if they don't accept or believe it...

They're still in the world. You sound like you're no longer a sinner......1John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us......I'm not saying you're not a Christian, but even Christians are sinners.......Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. I'm a Christian too, but I don't claim to be without sin. Even our thoughts alone makes us a sinner. If we are angry at someone, or envious of what others have. We have already sinned by just our thoughts. And were all guilty.

You're referring to first world, of two worlds, in 2Peter3.
Reason all perished is noted in Colossians 2: 20-22.
Such is called willing ignorance, worse than ignorance.
Worse: in Mt 23 is one proselyte: more the CHILD of hell.
"Worse": Mt9:16; 12:45; 27:64; Mk 5:26; Jn 2:10; 5:14.
Such like law impute sin & death to all just for the hell of it.
Worse in Revelation is seven (other) spirits more wicked .
Grace(Only) with you all. Amen.

Mainly we think this because so many born-again Christians have serious misconceptions about what the rest of us believe.
For example, you'll regularly see them post questions that show that they don't know that if you don't believe in God, you don't believe that disbelief threatens damnation (that is, all of the Pascal's Wager posts). They regularly post comments showing that they think that atheists "don't believe in anything" or "believe that morals are relative" or that "there is no right and wrong".
Even more commonly, they regularly post comments indicating that they believe that atheists choose to disbelieve because we "don't want to be held responsible" or because "we're rebelling" or "had a bad experience with Christianity".
I'm okay with believing that some born-again Christians understand things better than this, but obviously quite a few do not. In general, the atheists here show a good solid understanding of why Christians believe what they do, while most of the Christians show little or no understanding of why atheists don't believe in gods.
On top of that choosing "not to be of the world" is the most serious mistake you could possibly make. The world is spectacular, and furthermore, it's all that there is. In withdrawing from it, you're throwing away everything. I know, you believe you'll have something "more" after you're dead. In fact, though, you're wrong about that. When you're dead, you're gone, and if you don't take advantage of life - connection to the wonderful world - while you're living it, you're throwing away everything.

Beloved sister Daisymae,
" For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,
but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
What happened to Sodom and Gomorrah will happen to people whose who stand against and humiliate the Truth Taught by the Bible. ( Ref Bible : Genesis Chapter 19)
But for the Teachings of Jesus Christ , the world would have perishsed long before .
It is just because of Jesus's Message that violence ,povety and many other problems are just kept under controle at least this much.
Millions and millions of people lived and died as martyrs for the Truth taught by Christ. But none of them was so proud.
Even today we 2100,000,000 Christians Trust in him.We must learn Purity and Unity first. Then we will be still more better witness to the world.
There are still some jungle foxes hooting against Christianity.Do you know how many are ther?, ,just very countable.Let us continue to believe what Christ has taught to us. Let them contuinue to hoot all aroundt he jungle according to their real nature.
There are and there will be clouds-like witnesses for Christ to glorify Him
They will inherit heaven .
Whereas the others will reach attain damnation.
The real mad man considers the normal people " mad ones",
and the nomal .people consider the real mad man " A mad ".
Who is right ,and who is true?
No doubt Christianity is True and have produced people who lived and still live a pure life with Christian Love and Truth .
It is because of Pride that even the so-called born again Christians also are so proud before us.
Our God is a God who never looks in to our Past ,
but He just looks in to our Present only.
"God opposes the proud
but gives gace to the humble"
( James 4:6)
Lord Jesus accepts all equally whoever comes to him confessing his /her sins. For that only He came on earth .
In the story of the prodigal son ,the so-called righteous elder son was so arragant thinking of his righteousness.
Regarding the sinful woman the gospel says as follows,"
Then neither do I condemn you,"...Jesus declared ." Go now and leave your life of sin"
(John 8:11 )
Jesus is with us . Let us be happy.
Grace be with us all. Amen.
With Love ,

Because we constantly read comments on this forum such as "non-believers reject God because they want to live life without any morals" or "non-believers reject God because they don't want to acknowledge something higher than them" or "non-believers reject God because they're mad at him" -- all of which are totally false. If someone makes accusations like that, then it's a pretty safe bet that they've never experienced what I've experienced.

way to take the words right out of my mouth! haha.
Because we have God, so even through times of pain, we can somehow smile! I wish everyone could experience that! It breaks my heart to know that people go through problems and DONT have God's strength to lean on.
God Bless and have a good night!
