It's the Viet Nam conflict all over again. It was a war waged to profit the mercenaries and those who support the existing government. Done for the sake of economics. No more, no less. When the American economy is flailing, it's the only action they know how to take, even though the results are far less than favorable. It's referred to in some cultures as cutting off one's nose to spite it's face. Every time the US wages war upon another country it is done out of dire straits. And please take no offense, it is the same as with any other leading power. They have to take a good long hard look at where their money and power comes from and back that which provides them with their power and status.
Keystone Cops ... you betchya! It's all too "F"-in hilarious,
except for the families who lose their loved ones for a cause they themselves remain uncertain of. It's gotta make you think, at least a little.

My Son, a Green Beret currently serving in Iraq, and I (a retired special forces career military man) need people like you to enlist and show us the way. Obviously you are an expert and can lead us from the Keystone Cops mode. Of course asshole know it alls like you last about 30 seconds in war. When you aren't running away.

the media,
if you have a civilized war, you will die.
get the reporters out,
let the troops do the horrible things that are usually done in war, and it would play out differently.
read some war history, and you will see troops describe how many innocent people they killed in the name of keeping themselves safe.
as to the time line,
taking a country, then giving it back to them is a very new idea that does not work well.
we have to ask why are we trying to give that country back to them, because that is the real problem.

That's obvious....its because they, much like the Keystone Kops, have a script to adhere to. No deviation is permitted, you see.
Seven dollar a gallon gasoline......
It's hard to believe at times what people are willing to believe.
Aww, begorra......is the depth of human ignorance truly a bottomless pit?

Don`t worry the Republican Iraq war administration will soon move the larger forces out of Baghdad to the smaller towns in Iraq so the death toll will lower and Iraq will fade off the media radar just before the elections.

eh... they don't.... but politicians trying to micro manage this war are getting our men killed. PC is no way to fight a war. And I wish our country would start prosecuting those that give aid and comfort to the enemy...

Still at it? How about supporting the troops instead of insulting them?

It's because the entire Bush whitehouse is focused on power and not resolve. Myself, being a very liberal person, believe in nothing that is going on right now, lets just hope we see less casualties in the months to come.

Keystone cops. Why aren't you over there telling them what to do. You are very ignorant and very disrespectful of our Soldiers.
Shame on you.
