If not, then why would anyone click on the "report abuse" button?

Maybe a few words here and there....but no big deal at all.
I say,bring it on.....I will not report,block or cause anyone to be kicked of the island,period....Blocking is for sissies.

Well....to be honest..I have never taken notice to that button...but I believe people can report people that answer as well...not just the question asker. I suppose if someone was offended in some serious way by what someone posts here, they might do it...but I agree with the other guy....usually, if I read something I don't like, I just ignore it and move on.

I don't believe in reporting. Let the words stand and let people stand by their words.
However, I recently did report someone because they admittedly launched an attack against a friend and reported that person until their account was deleted. Over 50 reports in two days, and the friend was gone. I figured a little taste of their own medicine was in order. Right or wrong, I don't know, but I felt justified anyway.

I only use it if they swear a lot in one sentance, if they say the f-word, or if they are asking a question that is absolutely pointless to the extreme (not that often.) I never go into their profile and report all their questions and answers becasue that is evil.

Because I only report spammers, porn avatars, and people who report me.
Not that the latter hasn't applied when people actually have the nerve to email me and say they're doing as much...
... I'm not naming names, I'm pointing fingers.
