You say you love dancing - so why bother about others opinions; if you love doing it, do it - if you don't get picked out it shouldn't stop you doing what you love doing, unless your only doing it for the approbation of others. If you love it, do it for you.
good luck

Dispense with the self limiting belief system. We can't all be the first violinists in the orchestra. Try Tai Chi, and practise daily, one of the forms of meditation, such as the progressive muscle flexing and relaxing, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris on page 2, and view the self esteem/confidence websites. Visualise the steps beforehand, and yourself performing them well. Eat a well balanced diet. Through practice, and learning, you CAN learn to be the best at it that you are physically and mentally capable of: enjoy it, and adopt a positive attitude. Or, having tried the above for several months, with no real improvement; give it away, and try other things, if it continues to bother you. Comparing yourself unfavorably with others is never a good thing to do, so use the negative thought reprogramming method at "ezy-build" to deal with it.

Don't feel bad. Just stay there and keep working at the moves that you're having trouble woth. Go up to a teacher and ask for their help, that's what they're getting paid to do. If you keep at it, you'll work out all the kinks and you'll be the person being called up front. And you probably don't suck at it at all. I bet you're very good at dancing. I belive that you are.

Don't be too hard on yourself. You are doing something you love to do. Who cares if you are the "best" or not. (It is rather tactless for the teacher to point out others as better or best when there are others sho are not included in earshot)
You CAN though try hard and make the best effort that God has given you. Don't though be too discouraged, keep your head up and forge ahead. Maybe your time is not yet here.!

If you take two classes, then I highly doubt that you suck at it. Keep working at it and practice at home. You say you love it- so why not stick to it? Do it with a friend; that would be even funner. You'll get better. You can only improve.

if you love dancing, then dance your heart out. don't be shy in that class. make them know who you are. dance like you would never want to do anything else. practice and practice. if you still don't get noticed and don't like it, then try a different dance school. good luck. stay with what you love.

I once was in a class and I knew that I was doing well, but the teacher consistently picked me out of everyone to be hard on. At the end of the course, he approached me and said "I wanted you to know that I was only hard on you, because I knew that you were much better than any of them.. and I wanted you to reach your potential.. because you have so much more of it than I've seen in a long time."
So, you never know.. but if you fail, just suck it up and try some more.. it sucks, because its hard.. but if you are passionate about it, don't give up.. because secretly, that's what everyone usually wants to see.

Sometimes taking a break from something helps. Try taking yoga or a different type of dance that's new to you. When you go back to it you may surprise yourself.

always do what you love ! Why do you feel you have to be great or the best?
Not everyone can be the best but everyone can enjoy the favorite things in their life.............
Dance as if no one were watching
Sing as if no one were listening
Live each day as if it were your last

Who says you're not the best? Teachers aren't always good judges. Pratice and don't let anyone stop you from doing what you love.
