Dogs are better, cats belong in a zoo.

For every thumbs down I will kill a cat.

I don't have a pet but if I did. It would be Cats. Dogs and puppies take to much time , and effort. With my work schedule it would be selfish to have a dog. The poor thing would be in the house for up to 14 hours a day by it's self. A cat just needs food and a litter box, toys a scratching post and once in awhile when it feels like it, petting. They like to roam and are not always in need of attention. Dogs on the other hand, as soon has you pull in the driveway, want your love, and attention. And that is good for those whom need that. I just have a demanding career, so it is a trade off.

All my life we had cats. Then several years without a dog, a cat moved into our backyard and we adopted her. I love them both but there is nothing like the kisses and loves a dog gives. I would get another dog but this cat is scared to death of dogs.

I have owned both dogs & cats over the yrs., but my preference is cats. With my busy schedule, cats are easier to have, especially when they're indoor only, which is the only cat that I usually have.

I love all animals and have owned many...lol. Dogs are a better choice if you want unconditional love, loyalty etc. Cats are better if you like an independent, easy to take care of, animal. All in all I prefer dogs because even though they are more work, they also love you even when you have a bad day.

I prefer cats because they are self-sufficient. At the same time I do like dogs too. Cats and dogs each have their own personalities that make them irresistible to each of us owners out there.

Dogs, they are more work but worth it. Dogs like people more than cats do.
