If a US Military man marries a national, has a baby on base during a tour in that country, what would the baby's certificate state as to the place of birth? This would be in the early '60's.

The baby must be a US citizen because the birth occurred at a US base which is considered as an extension of the US territory in another country.

It would say the place of birth, name of the hospital/city/state/country.

the baby may not need to naturalize if the parents were married at the time of birth.

May be a citizen of U.S. already.

it would have to state the name of the hospital ,location, country , city .
father's birth information , mother's birth information .
are you perhaps referring to the child citizenship (person) ?
if it is the case ? do come back ......
