On the multi-color LED model the red lights (12) indicate the hour, the green (3) indicate 15 minutes each & the Yellow (14) are 1 minute each.
By telling the time in this way it makes it very easy to see if its roughly quarter-past, half-past or quarter-to the hour. With each green LED worth 15 mins; then 2 lit equals 30 mins.

Hey i really like your watch, where did you get it and how much was it? Can I get one, perhaps? Really a neat concept

Way too dorky for me.
It takes 1 min. to figure out what time is it!

First, count the red dots, then count the greens and multiply by 15!! then count the yellows. Only the Japanese would think something like that. Plus no date or month which is really bad (tough to fit another 30 dots I suppose or you would have to multiply by 5 or something to figure that out).
