A Christian told me, that I can not get into heaven if I have demons.?

Question

I am a born again Christian, saved on June 22, 2003. I have been set free from alot of Occult but I am still in the process of being delivered from demons. Now some of you may believe that Christians can not have demons and some of you may believe that Christian can. But the point is.. we get to heaven through Jesus Christ... God did not say..the ONLY way to get to heaven is if you dont have any demons in you. Anyway I told her to give me sctriptures to back up what she was saying but she could not.. she signed off line.

If you have repented of your sin and turned from them and asked Christs forgiveness, you certainly can go to heaven. I don't know if a Christian can have demons inside them.I once knew a guy who was into occult things and he was demon possessed but I don't know if he ever got saved. I would seek out preachers with a lot of power with God to help you to get delivered. Not all preachers have that power. I do know that it is God's will for you to be delivered.Don't get discouraged.And don't listen to people that are saying stuff like "you're mentally ill. People who haven't been involved in the occult won't understand. Good luck and God bless!!

I would think so since many cases where Christians are "possessed" come from child molestation and involve generational curses that are beyond their control. On Bob Larson s youtube video exorcism channel, you sometimes get cases of freak manifestation of demons of people who are Christians who didn t even know they were had something in the first place. Now, it would be unfair to suggest that people who do not have access to a good exorcist, or are unable to get rid of their demons, will to hell rather than because they have demons. Even Christians taking the position that no person with demons can enter into heaven, may themselves have demons they don t know about and don t manifest themselves until they go to some deliverance seminar. If an ancestor in the blood line did some sacrifice to a demon-god and you got a demon as a baby and got saved later and find that while you love the Lord, you keep hitting a spiritual plateau and you don t know why, then how many people would attribute that to a demon? They likely blame the individual and think they are not walking straight with God.

What this certain christian means by demons is fears. Not the people possessing burning drowning, yelling type. Anyways this statement is half true because the bible says to have faith and to be scared is not having faith that God will protect you, so theoretically, you cannot enter heaven with demons/fears because that would be lack of faith. If they did mean evil gnashing demons, i am not sure whether a possessed/oppressed person would go to heaven/hell, yet an oppressed person i think would go to heaven because they do not have demons INSIDE THEM, they have demons around them.

this is probably what she was referring to, but i understand that you are in the process of being delivered. however, she is correct to say, that until you are a new creation in Christ, (which means minus the demon baggage), you CANNOT enter the kingdom of heaven! and do you honestly believe that the demons are just going stand by and let you sit down to chitchat with Jesus??

Demons can oppress Christians, but demons can NOT possess Christians. When you became a child of God Almighty and Jesus Christ you instantly became spiritually shielded and signed as His.

What you may have is demons oppressing you, but they can no longer possess you. You are a child of The Most High God, equal heirs to Heaven with Jesus Christ.

First, you need to destroy any Satanic materials or ritual materials, music, videos, CDs, VHS, DVD anything like that & whatever else you have on your body, your home, your car, and on the grounds of your home or stored in your attic. If you have masks, satanic verses, candles, tarot cards, necklaces, bracelets, ear rings, anything connected or related to the Occult/Satanic such as anything with a broken cross, a pentacle or pentagram on them destroy them and get EVERYTHING out of your home and dump the charred remains in a dumpster.

Then you need to have a strong God-fearing, Bible-believing & knowledgeable Christian, your pastor, an elder, a deacon, someone who understands the Occult, has dealt with demons and is not afraid of them to come to your home and perform a cleansing of your home.

Then the oppression will cease. But always remember how Jesus dealt with Demons. He was not afraid of them, He did not converse or try to reason with them, He told them, "Go! And return no more!" and he told Satan who was possessing people, "Get thee behind me Satan!" And Satan went too. So remember, that as a child of The Most High God you are equal heirs with Jesus and you can call upon Jesus, and demand the demons leave your home by saying, "By the power of authority of the blood of Jesus Christ and in Jesus Christ's name evil spirits, demons, and angels of Satan be gone from this house and do not return!"

The demons and Satan MUST obey. They may screech and howl or slam doors in their leaving but leave they MUST! Because Demons and Satan "tremble" at the mention of Jesus Christ's name spoken in earnest.

And no, as you will see in the Bible passages below no demons nor demon-possessed people will enter the gates of Heaven. Here are three proofs.

Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

Revelation 21:27 "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither [whatsoever] worketh abomination, or [maketh] a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."

Revelation 22:14-15 "Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without [are] dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie."

Once your Spirit is "Born-Again" demons cannot enter there. You are a Child of GOD, and the only Place demons can give you hell is in the Soul and Body.

Getting Born-Again by Jesus, RECREATES your Spirit and GOD lives inside of your Spirit with you.
No demons there after your Saved.
Alot of Children of GOD (Born-Agains) have ALOT of Trouble with Demonic Activity AFTER they get Saved.
Some will not get Free of these things UNTILL they Leave out for Heaven.

Alot of People who Asked Jesus to Save them BUT never got free of all of those Demons will be surprised when they End up in Heaven!!!

You assume plenty and you missed the factor of that little exercising did no longer you . of direction in basic terms somebody who examine all of that tale could get the factor . You did no longer fairly think of God grew to become into going to enable him kill his newborn did you , oh yet you probably did or you won't have asked the question. you're somebody who could on no account sit down on a jury . you won't choose each and all the information to make a judgment call . you're risky , and you're a fool to think of there is no one right here it is familiar with what your objective is . If you are truly born of God, you have been delivered of the demons.

You are sealed with the Holy Spirit, born of His Spirit, cleansed by His Blood, joint heirs with King Jesus, & part of the family of God.

So, if you confessed Jesus Christ your Lord & Savior believing in your heart He raised from the dead, then this is the conversion. The old sinful man died, washed in His blood, the new man alive in Christ forevermore.

So, you can't have demons in you. If you think demons are in you, you aren't born of God yet.

The only way to get to heaven is to be born again. Because then heaven is your inheritance as a child of God.

What you need to do, is praise God for the blood of Jesus every time a demon accuses you. Submit to Gods love & Gods Word (renew your mind in the Word of God) Give God all your attention. Give thanks for this pleases God. Trust & obey God. Without faith, it is impossible to pleas God for those who come to God must believe God Is, and is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him. Remember that to submit to God is the most important. Resist satan (don't give demons attention) but do rebuke the demon as a child of God. You have authority over the demon. The demon gets scared & runs away.

If you are saying demons are in you, you are believing the demons lies. And the power of what you say. See, you need to speak the victory of Gods written promises. Not speak your fears. The demons manipulate you to speak your fears. Cast all your cares to Jesus, because Jesus cares for you. You need to be renewed in the Holy Spirit regularily, praying in spirit & truth to God. Pray in the spirit building up your most holy faith...

Listen. You must submit to God. That means to get rid of any accult material still in the house. Jesus will let the demon oppress you if you don't obey Jesus & get rid of it. That would include any pornography.

Since you are saved, born of God; then you can't be possessed of a demon, meaning that a demon cannot abide in you or cling to you. But demons can cling onto a porno magazine. Or accult material remaining in your house. Or drug pipes, etc... You have to get rid of it. All of it. Ask God in prayer where something might be hidden. Also, that would include a Mormon book. Can't have that in the house either.

You are saved. The Bible tells you so. We are all sinners.
Could I recommend reading the Bible straight through, perhaps with a commentary? That way you can't be fooled or scared by things people say. It might also help with your demons.
