Have you heard the expresion.He got the nose of a Jew .Can anyone tell me what this means please? No offence meant if you are Jewish.

Jewish people, like many Middle Eastern people have a highbridged well arched nose. I think it is very majestic and it truly makes them look like they come from a line of royalty.

This expression has been around a long time. Some Jewish people have pronounced noses, but then again you could say that about nearly every race on the planet. Some have and some don't. It's just people picking on the Jewish race again. I'm not a Jew, but I find them to be just as attractive as any other race of people. After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Your question could be very easily interpreted as being racist. It will offend a lot of people, but I hope that they will be mature enough to sense your innocence.

That is what it means, but it does not apply. I have a huge nose. I love it. In college I joined a Jewish frat (all wonderful wonderful people btw) but I got that joke a lot. I am not Jewish. It is a stereotype that is not true.

Can mean that he is shrewd, like a Jew.
Or he may be of Jewish decent because he got a big nose.

I have a Jewish nose, and it's beautiful. Now Italian noses, well they are in my family and boy, are they HUGE! I mena HUGE man, just like Elvis said, HUGE man.
