Having asked this question, as an honest, open question. I have realised that many people on here answer negatively without actually reading the question, and assume they know why somebody has asked that question.
So, for all the dick heads answering 'f*ck off'. Yes, I know it's not really a spiritual way of putting my point across, but I don't really care. Firstly, I am me. Secondly, I have my beliefs. Thirdly, you have your beliefs, and I respect them too.
So if you find my question too challenging for your small world....God Bless.

I think its because religious questions never really have any definitive answers in the first place. Each person's religous experience is so different, so when someone asks a question, we all try to answer it the best way we know how.
Some questions just have one answer,... 4+4=?. 8. Once someone answers it, the question is pretty much over. Religious questions have hundreds of answers, and if one person answers it, someone else will disagree, and answer how they feel fit.
That and the fighting. Some people love a good fight, I guess. So if you like a fight, where better to pick one than with religious people? Their beliefs can't be proved, and a clever person could come up with some way to trod on their beliefs until the cows come home. Religious fights are always big.

Not all faiths are based on guilt. Please, get your mind out of the freaking Middle East. Human spirituality has so much variety that I have to scoff and snicker at those who think it's limited to a single region on the planet and all began 2000 years ago. That's extremist. An extremist notion from the Middle East? When did that start happening? Educate yourself, get off the hard narcotics, and realize there is so much more in the world than the narrow views of middle America that you have struggled against. Leave your opponent alone in that ring and go talk to a Buddhist, a Hindu priest, an Odinist, a Wicca Priestess, a Shinto monk, a Subgenius Minister. I can't blame you for how your were raised, but it's your own responsibility to get your own head out of the sh!t pile that they placed it in. I get so sick and tired of having to educate all you ignorant people. I spent years trying to work on this red-neck vampire guy. He was pretty evil, but whenever he was drunk enough he just kept going on and on about the Hanged God. He was such a jack@ss in part because he a 'rebel' and he suffered that same kind of ignorant 'guilt' sh!t you talked about. You seriously lack knowledge. Get some, or I won't take you serious. freak.

There are many answers from the topic religion just because mostly everyone has a religion and there way too many religions out there too. Mostly they answer back because they feel offended of being talked about in a bad way or that they feel that what the other person is saying is not true and they are trying to persuade the other in believing in their point of views.

I love reading R&S questions especially the spiritual questions, I am very interested in that and If I can help anyone to understand the spiritual world, for people and animals I will. I have had so much contact with people who have passed on.
And there is no doubt in my mind there is an afterlife.

Because their are so many different views and beliefs, each believing that theirs is the right one. I for one have my own beliefs, and respect those.I also respect the views of others so therefore have no reason to feel guilty.

Religion is a popular subject!
Wether you follow it or not it pops up in life all the time. Everyone can comment on it.
As for having a guilty conscience? Not sure what you mean by that...

My personal feeling is we all have a God shaped place within because He created us to be in fellowship with Him...God loves His creation and desires to have a close relationship with us.
James ch 4: The Holy Spirit yearns over us...so He's always drawing us...
anyway i believe that's why people here are so passionate..either with love for their creator or fighting to prove ppl like me wrong..either way it brings out passionate love or passionate hate/anger...either way it's all good.

being a christian and knowing several of them i would say its because many believers go through life desperate to tell people off and preach to them but too shy to do it in the streets. in this place there is very little retaliation to evangelism
