I want to lose about 10 pounds because I have a larger frame, and I think I'd look better with some meat on my bones than to be a stick, but I want to know how I can lose weight the healthy way without giving up meat and eating nothing but fruits and veggies. I like them, but I don't want to eat it all the time. Also, is it ok to eat chips once in a while. Also, I go back to college at the end of August, so to be thinner by then would be a bonus.

alright haha i know how you feel.
im 132 pounds, but im 5"10 and only 17
so a little difference, but i understand where you're coming from, and its really good and amazing that u want to lose the weight in a healthy way!! good for you.
okay here we go:
when im feeling a little bloated or am trying to lose a few pounds for a beach day or party, this is some of the stuff i do:
1 egg and about 6 almonds in the morning
(almonds have the HealTHy kind of oil, that your body likes, and eggs whites only have about 36 calories each! I use to eat bannas everyday, but i found out that a regular size one is about 100 calories!! ahh :0)

Stay away from all fast food AND esp. starbucks, a tall (small) frappachino has more than 500 calories, which is like twice what u should be taking in for breakfast.

Instead of having 3 big meals a day, have about 5, but make them all smaller. Always eat something right when u wake up, because it will start your matabolism for the day :]

excersice a lot! Running, althought it may not always be the most fun thing to do, burns the most. about 800 in an hour. For more fun, walk around the mall for a few hours that will burn a few too (buy a few things and get a few shopping bags... then you'll be walking with weights!! haha + bonus shopping).

Its very best to eat AFTER you exercise.... it speeds up your matabolism. Don't eat too much though... Also: something to keep in mind: Vegies and fruits are good for you, but fruits, although claimed very good for u, must be eaten in moderation... Fruit has sugar, natural sugar yes... but sugar all the same. After i exercise i have a club of mixed fruit... my body can use the natural sugars better then, than an hour later.

Don't eat any food after about 6:30, that way you will still have a fairly good matabolism rating before u go to sleep.
Instead of dessert, though tempting... go for the frozen yogurt.. and if u can't resist, gelato has about half the calories that regular ice-cream does.
Fish with out much seasoning has barley anyyy calories, so eat up! Eating a bit of fiber is good for you and it will keep you full longer.


remember, everything is good in moderation, don't overdue broccoli just because its good for you :]

Fats are nothing more than stored acid. If you continue to take acidic food, even with exercise you cannot get rid of fats. Therefore you must solve the weight problem at the source : eating acidic food. By taking alkaline food, you prevent the intake of acid to create more fats. Besides doing exercise, you must eat only alkaline food.
Read the book "pH miracle for weight loss". See photos of people losing weight at ease. If you want to loose weight super fast, there is an alkaline liquid diet. According the book, people are loosing 10 pounds or more within the first 8 days. Go to the website below to see which food (and even fruits) that are acidic.

actually the recommended wait is "100" pounds at 5'0 then add 5 pounds per inch but thats bullshit since it does not calculate bone density and believe me most people do not have the bone density of a bird, if you want to lose weight fast, run with a sweat shirt and long pants but thats only water weight and unhealthy, do crunches if you know how to do em but if you do em the wrong way you can mess up your spine, the best way is just to eat right, and not to much carbs and to much sugar, and **** the calorie count and work out.

Avoid Carbs...dont eat or eat less of potato,pasta,bread and other things like this.

eating raw veggies will drop the weight also.

My favorite is fresh peaches cut up with skin on and then put in a blender with 3 or 4 ice cubes and cover with orange juice and blend...its excellent and gives you a boost of energy big time...also walking will help with weight loss.

Exercise! Get a good aerobic routine & do some workouts with weights as well. I know everyone seems to be trying to find ways to lose weight & stay well-toned without having to exercise now, but it's still the best & only way to keep your body in the best shape.

Slim fast helps and dont listen to those idiots. 10 pounds will make you thin enough. Try the cookie dough bars from slim fast. MMMMM

Don't just diet, include some good healthy exercise in your program. That will make you healthier, happier, and in much better shape. Thin can only get so far.
