Texas has a NO Gambling Law. Okay their prerogative! So how come they still allow Bingo and the State Lottery?
Both of these activities are considered as gambling in the UK.

I think it is very hypocritical especially as the Catholics are so against gambling yet they still enjoy paying money to play with numbers to win money or prizes. What do others think?

Well since most of the catholics spend just about as much cash on those lotto tickets as any one else, you can judge them guilty too.

yeah thats very hypocritical the lottery is gambling and most bingo places are considered gambling

Because............. the government can get taxes from the lottery. But if you win a hand at poker the government doesn't really get a slice of it.

Most people place immoral things that they do in a different compartment in their brain than the immoral things that other people do.

It makes life easier.
