Muslims, what are you doing about the murder done in your name and in the name of your religion? Silence is consent.
Everyday I read about verified kidnappings, murders, rapes, arsons, pogroms, robberies done by Muslim groups(even whole villages) against Non Muslims or against'heretical" types of Muslims.
Is this what Islam is becoming? Is this what Islam really is?
I hope not,but if Muslim don't stop denying or even defending these evils "authentic Islam" will all but disappear.

Babi,
Thank you for the ignorant insults. The murders by Muslims etc are facts. Check Forum 18 or The Voice of the Martyrs. The Non Muslims being murdered are not Americans, but innocent local people. If Allah(SWT) is just He will judge not only them for their evil but-have you thought- that you will be held in account for your defense of these murders? Or do only Muslims count as human to you.

Dear Calmness.
What are you doing to prevent Islam from being taken over by the murderers? Do you condemn the pogroms? That 20 countries are killing their people for"non Muslim" reasons does not say anything to the flood of blood shed in profanation of the Holy Name of Allah(SWT) by Muslims in the name of Islam.

Thank you,Reyyan, for acting like a true Muslim and reaching out in love to non Muslims. If good muslims do not act evil ones will crushany sign of God as the Merciful and Compassionate. May Allah(SWT) the All Good bless you and encourage you to persevere in condemning evil done in His Blessed Name.

Qi, Apparently you are testifying to my question more than you are aware. What are you doing about the mass murder in the name of Islam. Those who deny it are participants.
I condemn and work against all the things you have mentioned? Do you?

In sadness I must add how disappointed I am by the nasty projections and avoidances of the call of God to condemn mass murder and persecutions in Nigeria,Egypt, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, to name but a few. You can't tell God at the Judgement that these things were not brought to your attention.

Unfortunately,my pleas come from direct knowledge and not just from Western Media(which tend to ignore Assyrians,Copts, Rum Orthodox and Rum Catholiques,Mandeans,Yazidis,Parsees,Protestants,Anglicans and the other minorities). I know abou that which I am lamenting. What are you going to do to promote justice for Non Muslims and minority Muslims?

God bless you, Moom Lit Muslima, for your courage in denouncing this hipocrisy. Continue in your witness against these evils that harm the good character of Islam for i am more concerned about those Muslims who are deluded into thinking that all this mayhem, murder and other evils are justified. If I am angry with perceived injustice from a moer powerful outsider, how can I justify murdering or robbing my neighbors who are suffering the same sorrows? Just because they are not of the whatever group I belong to?
May Allah(SWT) Who is All-Just and Most Gracious, bless you and sustain you in your efforts to "clear his name" for yours is the true struggle and jihad.

There are villages( or were) with large minorities of non Muslims and neighborhoods of cities which are ,in fact, villages,in Iraq. There used to be such that were completely (or just about) a particular millet(religio-ethnic group).

Instead of telling you that we do speak out against it and why we are put through so much injustice I would like to tell you that currently I am president of my MSA ( Muslim Student Association ) in College. Starting Wednesday we will be holding a number of rallies and going throughout New York to speak exactly about this. We will be speaking out against hypocritical Muslims who do injustice in the name of Islam. We will also be having a fastathon here in school , where everyone will be asked to fast and the donations will be sent to Iraq for families who have had casualties in war. I understand and appreciate what you are trying to say, But I have to tell you , you have to look at both sides of the story. Do you think that there is a reason why Muslims are sometimes pushed to the edge? Because I'm sure a lot of them have better things to do hen kill people just for the hell of it. Please note I am not justifying any ones actions and neither does Islam. But we must be aware that it takes two hands to clap.
Thanks for the post.
“God does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes – from dealing kindly and justly with them. Indeed, God loves those who act justly. God only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion – (forbids) that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers.” (Quran 60:8-9)

Simply put, most Muslims DO speak out and denounce violence, killing, etc., but the Media has no plan at any time to let anyone know this, so even if it occured, you cannot know because the Media will decide not to show such a thing, so it looks like these Muslims are silent and agree with what is going on, when in reality this is the opposite. That is how propoganda works...
The Western Media has caused the west to believe in their point of view, and only giving one side of the story blinds the people viewing: that is almost everybody. The Media has forced its viewers to believe that Islam is a violent, bloody, intolerant religion, but in reality this is actually the opposite. If people would stop accepting their television sets as their teachers, more people would know the actual truth about Islam. The Media reports misleading stories, gross exaggerations, inaccurate information, and false statements about Islams and Muslims to undermine the religion, and unfortunately, this propaganda is a success--many many Americans believe everything they hear on the news or read in the newspaper. What they fail to realize is that what they read/hear is only one point of view of a bias Media that has been criticizing Muslims with false information vigorously since 9/11.
Terrorism is CONDEMNED in Islam; it is not allowed. Neither is innocent murder, or forced conversions. These are all misleading fabrications composed by the Media. You can't always believe what you hear.
Terrorists are not true Muslims; they use Islam as a mask to cover up their dirty work, and give Islam a bad name. It is not fair for the majorit of Muslims, who oppose terrorism and denounce violence that is occuring.
Please refer to the following video. It is very true, and will provide valuable insight; I strongly recommend watching it:

What would you have us do?
1) do Muslim leaders not come on news and condemn terrorism and extremist? They do almost every day on Pakistani t.v, yet why would your media show you that? your media keeps putting retarded people on t.v to show true Islam, that not Islam, why don;t they try finding some one who is actually a true Muslim.
2) Does American military has no Muslim soilders? One of my friend a Muslim guy is in Iraq right now fighting.
3) Are Muslim countries not helping USA?
Pakistan is a USA puppet and if it was not for American military bases in Pakistan it would have been a lot harder attacking Afghanistan.
but what happens to those people/civilians who die at the hand of both extremist and USA military and are known as the war waste or what ever? What about them? What about there family?
Also what of that Iraq was more stable under Saddam and way less people died then who are dying now?
and what of the American solider who rapped 2 women there ( it was on the news)
what about those?
I quote "done by Muslim groups(even whole villages) against Non Muslims"
What non Muslim villages? there are not any non Muslim VILLAGES in Iraq..... and if your talking about Palestine and Israel don't forget that they are in a state of war and have been. and Palestine is the victim there not Israel.... and what if the stupid Israeli soldiers who just shot those 2 kids?

I am a muslim and we have a very active interfaith organization here in the bay area (San francisco, CA). We are in constant dialogue with so many churches, synagogues, hold at least 3 big events per year, go to schools and churches (if requested) to educate people about what islam is really about etc. And I know 3-4 other muslim organizations around here doing likewise but unfortunately this doesn't get much news coverage as it's not as interesting or shocking enough for the media. If you really want to learn more about the true face of islam and how muslims feel about this whole situation, I strongly encourage you to seek for a muslim organization in your area. Chances are there are events organized and you don't even know about them. Oh yeah, on our limited self-funded budget, even giving a newspaper ad is so difficult sometimes! I wish the US governtment funded such efforts as it will eventually help the american society and build bridges between different religions/cultures.

If youre reading about Iraq or some other part of the world where people are poor, hungry, have lost touch with their humanity and thus forget to behave like humans, then you gotta be reading the news very selectively.
Because there are over 20 countries in the world that have internal conflicts, where theyre not initiated by Muslims and your main channel news wont even cover them because of the lack of shock value.
Which is the same reason why your news wont cover normal Muslims speaking against conflicts of all sorts, because in order for them to make the news, theyd have to do something completely off the normal to go on your channels.
Edit: I wrote 3 paragraphs worth of criticism and personal opinion. Are you gonna remember this or the next crazy person who says theyre 'muslim' and says all kinds of crap? You tell me.

This question is so naughty and unintelligent that it does not deserve an answer. But since I have a few seconds, I could very well state that (according to your reasoning) that you are a Nazi, bestiality pornographer, wife beater, child rapist, murderer, devil worshipper, homosexual, etc etc
Why do I say this:
Simple, using your own brand of logic 'silence is consent'
you do not condone any of the above and even if you decide that you do, the list could be altered to include almost anything (you would spend an eternity defending falsities) and as such are most likely the premier supporter of all these acts.
You leave yourself open to any accusation by using the rather stupid statement: silence is consent.

no killing is committed in the name of islam unless there is a declaration of war.If you read from news about the crimes made by "muslims"and sanctioned by organizations of islamic countries, then it is indeed islam, but it's NOT!
would it be just if one accuse all christians to be criminals if the news state droves of christian burned witches, jews, non christian converts, tolerate prostitutions, drugs, homosexuality, adulterers, etc?
when Iraq invaded Kuwait in the 90's, they pillaged the city and raped women of any creed. As a muslim, i volunteered to go into combat against them without pay.Unfortunately, the group got no visas or other backdoor means to help.
is there any christian group who volunteered to go to combat without pay when emergencies arises. No wonder a british female journalist studied and converted to islam because no christian voiced out when the bethlehem manger square was ransacked by terrorist.

Unfortunately, many Muslims, many "Muslim" leaders, know nothing about Islam. Silence is not consent. If I spoke about everything I hated about every political group, I'd never be able to stop talking to eat, to sleep, to work, to actually accomplish anything in life, and all I would be able to teach my children is what NOT to do. Doesn't it seem more productive to teach what is right, rather than waste energy denouncing those who don't care?
