LOL I have often thought of that. You would think a few of the other folks would get on with the delivery thing. It can't be because pizza and chinese travels well - it gets cold just as quickly as other food.

hell yes to dorito deliveries.. toilet paper wouldn't be a bad idea if you ran out, but what if you ran out of paper while going potty and have to stop and hold it to run for the phone and call for tp, lol.

You can't get it currently because nobody offers this service. If you were so inclined, perhaps you could start your own business and offer this service. I would think it would be a smashing hit. Older people that can't get around would love to order their groceries and have it delivered, Not to mention parents that are pressed for time. Wonderful idea for a new business.

Back in the 70's and 80's they did have neighborhood stores that delivered groceries and supplies. I think they offer a service on the net but it is only for certain areas.

When I lived in Calgary, there was a place call "Dial - A - Bottle" where you called them up, told them to grab you a case of Budweiser or whatever, plus if you wanted snacks or smokes, they'd grab those for you, too. It cost a little extra, but when you're hammered and outta beer, it sure came in handy.

Help Me is right - you can also order whatever you want at a hotel in L.A. (call down and ask for a goldfish and some tea and they bring it!)

It's a shame isn't it?! I wish they would deliver maxipads. Sometimes stuff sneaks up on you and you could be low on supplies, ya know.
