i still have nightmares of having to hide my reportcard from mom and Dad. I told my Mom and Dad that I stopped lying when I stopped getting Whoopins. They were pretty much speechless.
Today at 34 I know now it's because I hate having to remember the last lie to cover with another one and so on ... its easier to tell the truth, especially when it comes to parents. So you got a D, not the end of the world, believe me . It's funny how you say '[my parents are asian} we somehow distance ourselves from how our parents act and think, we have to in order to make positive progress. Regardless of how your parents see you, its important to begin knowing how important to are to yourself first, then to them second. They have to respect that, If they still want to whoop you , well keep in mind that its illegal now. =D good luck kido

A D is not the end of the world, you can always retake the class and get a higher grade..
Just tell them you plan to retake the class next semester... If you already have a plan to make it better in place parents see not only the bad grade but that you have thought it out and have a plan to fix it.. Parents really like when kids see mistakes and make plans to fix them it shows parents their kids are maturing...
If you can also try to find where you went wrong this time .. parent go in big for kids seeing the exact mistake so they can assume the kid has learned..

My friends all just throw out/shred their report cards, but that doesnt really help. But with the B's And C's, all I can say is if you're parent's are happy with thoes kinds of grades, great. I bury myself alive if I get a B not wanting to face the wrath of parents. But anyway, one D wont kill you, or them. So just show it to them like when they're on the phone or something, its much easier.

Try to do it so they feel sorry for you. Like write a note or something, on a post it and stick it on youre report card. Or you could fake cry so they feel rrrrreally sorry for you. Or just tell them what you wrote here that you worked really hard and that you really tried.

Just show them tell them that you had a lot of homework everyday and didnt always get time to finish it and your classes were a little too hard for you. Its the right thing to do and it might get you in a little bit of troble but at least you wont feel guilty in the end.

Honestly man, it's an honors class. you can't be expected to perform incredibly. Jsut tell your parents you did your best. if you've got the papers and study time to prove it, there really shouldn't be a problem.

Will making a fake report card make you any smarter? No. Just more sneaky.
Study this summer if you want better marks... or get a tutor.

I think timing is important... One time, I showed my report card when my dad was reading the Bible - It wasn't as bad as I expected. Just show them and try harder next time!!! Good luck~

Just show it to them. I tried to make a D into a B once but my mom caught me, so I ended up in more trouble lol
