We die because we are all sinners. You and I are fallen creatures and sinners. God said all men who sin will die. One day you and I will pass on and we will have to give an account for our life here on earth before God. Some will go to hell because they deny God and his salvation and some will go to heaven because they choose to repent of their sins and believe jesus died for their sins to grant them everlasting life because God loves man kind. Its that simple. God makes up the rules and he always has the last word, not men.

As salaamu 'alaikym.
If one was to despence of "religious notions" as to why we die and as to what happens or where we go after that event, the answer becomes quite simple.
Nothing is permanent. All physical manifestations, whether they be stars, planets, mountains, trees and plants, insect, fish, birds, mammals or humans do not last forever, though their individual time spans may and do vary.
The body, as marvelous and complex as it is has a limit and, when it reaches that limit due to an inability to reproduce cells or process nutrients, etc., it ceases to function. This is called "death". We die, not becuase man's behavior brought sin into the world but rather because our "machines" that have served us for so long simply break down and can no longer repair themselves well enough to continue.
As to the implied religious question, revelation has come to mankind in more forms and books then just the Torah, Penatuech and the New Testament (which you seem to call the "bible"). If you have the opportunity, pick up a translation of the Holy Qur'an. You might find what it says very interesting.
Ma'a salaam.

If we lived forever, we would multiply beyond our environment's ability to support us, and we would go extinct. Or, if we lived forever but had no more children, we would be in danger of dying from accident or disease, and going extinct.
==Edit==
"The bible says that the reason for death is sin. Man brought death to the world. There is not answer for death outside the bible. So far all the answers where just feelings and guesses."
Okay, bullshize. Several of the answers are rational and logical answers to your question. i understand that maybe none of them are complete, but they all provide good information, and not just "feelings and guesses". Why even ask the question if you are biased and already think you know the answer? I expect these type "questions" but I don't have to like them. I'm probably guilty of them myself, but at least I'm willing to consider answers without a preconcieved notion of what they should be.

Sin entered the world, and death through sin. Now this life is a temporary assignment, however I am talking about our bodies only!
We are made up of body, soul, and spirit, and our spirits live on. If we know the Lord Jesus and have accepted His offer of salvation, then we will go to be with Him, when these bodies of ours wear out. This life is preparation for the next, but we all have a choice of where we spend eternity.
One day I will be clad in a new heavenly body, one which will never perish or fade away. It will be an eternal body.

Our bodies are like a machine. All machines can be broken. If any necessary part or parts are broken beyond repair our bodies cease to function. We age and sometimes die of "old age" due to cellular decay. All matters decay. The soft flesh of our bodies decays much faster than say rock. Eventually the decay rots away the heart, lungs, or other vital organs and we perish. Diseases that kill work much the same way as cellular decay rendering organs useless.

Immortality is worst than death, but since we are living things(organic) we are supposed to die, because life isn't permanent, life is temporary everyone will eventually undergo this process. The only things that cannot die are things that are already dead or things that aren't alive in the first place i.e. non-living things.

Our bodies die, yes. The soul however does not. You don't need the bible to tell you that, just a good sense of spirituality.

I don't suppose there is any perfect explanation; but I would say because no- one takes care of themselves like they did hundreds of years ago..People used to live to be hundreds of years old, back when we only ate what we could grow and what we could kill to eat..Now so much of our food supply is processed and has additives that we can't even pronounce; let alone identify..Animals are fed by people who give them so called vitamin supplements and who really knows what that is..We die sooner because of these things..But as to why we die at all, I'm stumped on that as well.Just because I guess; because we are not meant to live forever, what would we do? where would we go? And what would we become? Those are scary thoughts..

I should think the answer would be obvious to the most casual of observers. The body wears out or else malfunctions due to any number of causes.

The Circle of Life. Our bodies simply wear out, as they should - just like every other creature on the planet. It would be horrible to live forever.

Nothing lasts forever does it. When you think of it even inanimate objects wear out and cease to function. Just the cycle of life.
