Nobody gave me the right to judge. I dislike the term "true" Christian because the term is rather subjective, as well as highly judgmental. I personally feel that it's better to work on my own spiritual development than to be concerned with that of others. Other people's spirituality is none of my business.

I don't judge anyone because you never know what is in a persons heart. But there are some scriptures that say you will know them by their fruits. What are we suppose to know exactly? To some degree we have to judge or we would become followers of people who are on the wrong track. I think the Idea is not to condemn people. There are so many people who are professing christianity and say that their form of christianity is the only true form of christianity and all others are false....this is tragic.

It's impossible to discuss Christianity or Christians. They always pull the 'I'm still a sinner, but I'm trying to be like Christ!' thing. Thus, whenever you point out hypocrisy, they just say they'll work on it (though most will just say you're wrong).
It seems like the only way to define a Christian these days is one who believes in God (up to interpretation even for them) and follows the Bible in some way. Oh wait, scratch that last part. Someone who believes in God.
Let's just make that "Someone who believes in a supernatural entity."
There are so many denominations, so many excuses, so many interpretations that it's impossible to talk about true or false Christians to other Christians.
Edit: I guess this is the nature of unattainable idealism. Jesus said to love each other and not cast stones, since we're all sinners. He also said a lot more, so if you don't follow that, technically you aren't following Christ. So you aren't a Christian. But again, even "love" is interpreted differently, as is "cast stones," as is "sinners."

The bible says "not to judge , lest ye be judged ", that is true , but just like the" bareans" God wants us to judge everything by His Word , by His standards. It is called discernment, if we didn't have it, we wouldn't know wrong from right.
God tells us in His Word" you shall know them by the fruit they bear"
If there is nothing good coming from a person they are not of God , because God is good and everything , that He touches has to change.

Well i dont have a religion at all, but i do not judge others by what they believe. If everyone excepted each other and did not judge or force their beliefs around ,the world would be a happier calmer place to live in.

Thank you for this comment. As a Mormon, we are always getting called "not Christian" even when it is in our name. I never judge anyone according to their religion, because Christ said not to judge others, for how we judge, so shall we be judged.

Judge and you shall be judged.
When someone says something about another man,he acctualy says alot about himself.
He expresses mostly the differences that he has with this man.
People are so stupid. By saying this,I reveal that I think that I'm smart,my belief that I'm superior to other people and that stupor is my weakness.
Figure it out for yourself, this formula works almost everytime,if you have the wits to use it . . .

Right on! What I get out of Christianity boils down to this: "He that believes in me and is baptized shall be saved".
I was never taught you had to give "X" amount of money to the church, or you had to eat fish on Friday, or the Pope is a better human being than me, or if you make a mistake you're doomed, and on and on and on.

No person has the right to judge other people. Only God. We are taught to turn the other cheek, be kind to others and do onto others as you would want done on to you.

no one has the authority to say that. Only God can judge and he knows who are his followers and his followers know who their God, father, and master
