Well don't know what to tell you about the lemon juice thing, never tried it ,but you can get your hair colored with a semi-permanent color(which has no peroxide in it) and it conditions your hair while it's being colored. It really enhances your natural color and you can control what type of blonde your trying to achieve instead of guessing what it will look like when you wash lemon juice or over the counter stuff off your hair. We use redken shades were I work and it doesn't cost that much and it just fades out over time until you go back to the salon to get the color refreshed. That is the safest bet I would say. Hi lites are good but bleach is damaging and it takes up keep to get touch ups. Good luck!

Well It might be a little hard beacuse the older you get the darker your hair gets..And then it gets light again...Try the "sun treatment" The sun brings out natural light streaks i peoples hair expessailly blondes just have your hair in the sun for an hour a day at least and a few weeks later it will be a little bit lighter but not alot if you really want it lighter a lot not just over the summer you will have to dye it..

The problem with using lemon juice or any other over the counter product to lighten your dirty blonde hair, is that it tends to make your hair look brassy - not healthy. Tried that.
I used to be a medium blonde, but now I refer to the natural color as "squirrel". If you have your hair professionally hi-lighted(Haircuttery will do it for $65) every other month, and use a good shampoo, it will look like your natural color and your hair will look healthy. The key is not to have it done every month - that will damage it.

going interior the solar for an hour or 2 an afternoon will lighten your hair. i be attentive to in my opinion because of the fact i'm a organic blonde, yet while i could lay out interior the solar my hair could grow to be lighter and have organic highlights. i've got extensively utilized diverse shampoos like sea coast Blonde and Pantene professional-V Blondes. It provides lighter shade on your hair - It does not dye it. Bleaching it could be thoroughly stupid - it could completely wreck your hair. there are a number of diverse "legitimate" shampoos that supply you the outcomes you're searching for. yet be attentive to that it will not ensue in one day.

you could get it dyed or highlighted, but have it done professionally and not too often. And use Pure Blonde shampoo/conditioner and styling products. They're foumulated specifically for either natural, dyed or highlighted blonde hair so they not only protect your color, but also protect your hair from damage.

soak you hair in lemon juice and lay in the sun and your hair bleaches surprising amounts, my hair bleached a ton in an hour. keep your hair wet with lemon juice. dotn use sun-in it makes your hair a brassy colour, and dried out your hair. lemon juice just enhances the suns power to lighten your hair and speeds up the process, so it will be natural. best of luck!

bleach is worse than dye. use lemon juice extract, apply in the hair and let it dry naturally in the sun or under the shade.

Wear a wig?
You can't get your hair lighter blonde without dying it...
If you aren't going that much lighter, the dye really won't damage it that much.
