Alright, I am against the war...I am against Bush, damned Republicans...Okay so its 14% approval rating he has...oops. As for medical care, how much does it cost to go to hospital and have surgery mmmm....its not free, despite hospital policies of helping all, people lose everything for a couple MRI's etc. As for my comment on the hungry and homeless people in our country, they come first, screw the hungry in third world countries, our people should come first. As for death tolls, our generals are raising them higher to bolster us for the war, it will never happen. I never once said I wasnt proud of our soldiers. As for BUSH pointing the finger at Iraq, give me one good reason why, just one reason why our troops werent sent in force into AFG to get the one terrorist that started us on the path whe are currently on. No, cant do that, Saddam MIGHT have WMD's, thats what our people in CIA told us..mmmm...Osama started it all, and once again our mighty military let him go.MMMM

This is not a question, and you seem to have an issue with those who are not as liberal as you.
The 14% approval is for the Dem's congress. You correctly reported Bush's approval polling at 26%.
One loses all credibility when their facts are incorrect.
Edit:
The comentary was longer than I thought...If you question WMD'S, ask the UN inspectors. According to them, the weapons were there, but there was no evidence that they were removed.
Logic would dictate that they were moved (just as the trucks of money were) in months we were stalled while appeasing the world with resolution after resolution.
If they haven't degraded, they'll more than likely be back. Let's hope it's not through our borders.

1. It is Congress who has the 14% approval rating , Bush is at 28%..OOPS!
2. Do you wonder why people come to America from everywhere for an operation? Because we have the best health care available. Why should your healthcare be free?
3. I agree that in a perfect world we have to take care of own first. However, today it is a small world, what happens across the ocean does indeed affect us.
4. You think the death tolls reported on TV are bolstering the war? Where have you been?
5. Um, hate to tell you, but we went into Afghanistan in force first and are still there. And still fighting I might add. How much of that news have you heard lately?
6. I'll let a fox go in the woods and you can go and try to find him on his home turf. Let's see how successful you are.
I might be wrong, but I believe I managed to disagree with you without a single nasty comment.

Well Leonard, not a nasty comment one from me.. I do not agree with this *war* in Iraq.. however... I support our troops 2000%... my neice has been there and fought, as well as many friends children and spouses!.... Why are we there.. not for the reasons we were given.. not find and remove WMD's... be honest Mr. President... you had 2 reasons.. 1..oil.. 2 .. finish the job your daddy didn't. pure and simple.
I would like nothing more than to see all the men and women of our military be brought home right now, however, I know that is not going to happen.. nor would it be a good move on our part. Once total chaos breaks out over there, the rest of the world goes to hell in a hand basket as well. ..
As for Osama... well let's be honest... if we do know where he is... Bush can't allow him to be caught.. since once he is caught.. he no longer has a reason to keep us fighting!...
We do as the *richest* nation in the world.. have an obligation to help other areas in need ... I do however believe charity NEEDS to start at home... We need to get funding back to schools... we need to get people back to work.. EVEN if that means bringing back the government works crews of the depression era.... We need to stop the hemoraging of our greatest manufacturing jobs into other countries where cheap labor and no taxes to bring the items BACK into the US are removing the middle class from our land scape.
Who in the US gives the most to charities for the homeless.. to feed the children... the middle class.. the folks that are now going jobless.. or being down sized and moving into low paying retail positions... loosing their homes.. and for many any hope they had of a better tomorrow....
As for Medical... we do have a GREAT medical community... BUT the insurance companies have made it impossible for our doctors.. to DOCTOR!... Health care costs are at an all time high.. yes I am sure some will say that is because medical advances are also at an all time high ... GREAT.. but make it so those that need it can get what they need.. and NOT what some dumb jerk sitting behind a desk says they can have... Your doctors job should be taking care of YOU their paitent.. not finding the loop holes in your medical policy to allow them help you... how the hell does THAT happen.
Why does everyone want to come to the US.... simple.. they can say as they please.... as long as it's NOT a threat to anyone... they are not monitored 24/7 .... they have what they didn't have in their countries.. FREEDOM.... at what cost... when was the last time you tried to take a 20oz diet coke through security at the airport... When was the last time you were able to say good bye to your spouse at the gate???
We are great nation... we are a nation of great people... that is being destroyed because of a bunch of idiots that have issues with our economic and religious policies... Because of a leader that believes he dosen't have to answer to the UN... did Iraq follow the UN directives.. No.... but the did the US follow them any better... NO.... so our leaders are as much to blame as Hussein was.
We have the best opportunity for the voices of the American people to be heard coming up in Nov of 08.... show the politicians that we are done watching and waiting... vote for REAL change..... don't listen to lip service... GET involved... LEARN all you can about the people that want to run this nation.. and make the best decission you can make.... BUT make sure it is an informed decission.. NOT just voting for the lesser of 2 evils.....

not a nasty comment:::
As long as you support the troops it is ok not to like the war or Bush . As for the problems at home /medical cost -- well my comment on that is even if the gov put more money on the hunger and medical problems it would not solve it . There is a lack of trust in the gov and also not to many people want to go after help.

His approval rating is 28% not 14%. His 28% is dismal but compared to Congress--he's twice as popular.
When did healthcare become a right? Are you entitled to ANYTHING for free--I think not. You walk into the grocery, you pay for the lb of hamburger meat. Same for healthcare.
No one in our country must truly go hungry. THe homeless have shelters, good kitches. etc. There is a safety net of social services. Not true in Africa and other places.
If you think a general wants to lose a single solider to "bolster" anything--you are insane.
There are soliders in Afghanistan today, and it was thefirst place they went.
THe only thing I agree with you on is a a distain for Osama.

I was wondering what kind of nasty you were talking about. You meant rude, inconsiderate, and just plain ugly. Some people have a mean streak in them.

although I agree with about the war on Irag, that it's a war of a vain and useless cause, but about hunger in third world countries and hunger here, what you said is like comparing the ebola virus to a bad cold---theyre not comparable. The hunger in third world countries is far worse than the hunger here---compare starving to death from lack of resources to people here having to use their welfare check from the government to shop at cheap places like FoodMaxx. Also, a lot of the people on the street are hungry bc they refuse to work and/or get help from therapists as many of them are suffering from addictions and mental illness.

Well, sense you put it that way, I don't see how you are still on the board. Yahoo is a liberal company but many people on here are against people like you.
Good luck in the future...You're going to need it.

WTG !! I agree with you. I too support our troops, however think the government has went to ****. What happened to the good 'ol days of gas prices at $1.00 a gallon, and the economy bursting with livliness? If people would just think back, it wasn't that long ago. So what if Clinton had a little nooky , at least we were better taken care of. Kudos

Can't argue with you on any points that you made because I am in total agreement. Just went to pick up a prescription I was told that BlueCross wouldn't cover it unless we did a whole preauthroization thing which means it goes to a bunch of pencil pushers not doctors and they determine if I in fact need this medicine that my Doctor has said I needed. Go figure.
