mostly they don't.
And, if you're caught after curfew because of some other silly reason [didn't signal before turning left or whatever], you'll discover that curfew had teeth after all.

If you're on a cerfew or ASBO you have to be in between certain times and stay away from certain people/ area. It you break this order you get arrested and taken directly to court or held over night until court starts in the morning. The order will be re-enposed or if it is serious enough you can be held in custody.
But the only way you are going to get caught is if you are seen and reported or picked up by the police. Unless a police officer particularly dislikes you they are not going to call to check on you ( they have lots of other things to do ).
I am guessing you are not taged as you don't say this and if you were you could not leave the house or the tagging agency would be notified automatically.
If you are knowen by the police and outside your cerfew they will lock you up!!

A curfew is monitored in a number of ways. Sometimes its by electronic tagging which restricts how far an individual can move away from the monitor in the house before it sets off an alarm.
The police can visit at any time of the night and you have to produce yourself at the door on request. If an individual is a prolific offender on a curfew and breaches other orders ie bail conditions on a regular basis the police have been known to visit a number of times through the night. Its no good complaining either...afterall, if you had done nothing wrong...you wouldn't be curfewed in the first place!

Depends on the local court system. If it is a repeat violation and part of a court ordered thing, they will check to make sure you are following it. They will call your house, show up at random times to make sureyou are home.
Otherwise, curfew is enforced by police officers going to places that they know local teens hang out and they send them home. If they catch you elsewhere that night, they can do any number of things from telling yiou again to go home, to ticketing you, to taking you in to the police station and having your parents come pick you up.

You can either be tagged so they can track your where abouts.
Other then that all they can do is come round to see if you are in.
Something they don't bother with half the time.
But you have to way up the consciences, if you go out there is still a possibility they could come round.
Then you would most likely go on remand cause they will say you are not abiding by your bail conditions.

if you are talking about a cerfew while on probation......
the probation officer does home visits after cerfew to see if the probationer is home or not.
probation officers also often check bars for probationers too.

probation is one like already said but phone calls can be made to your house or dwelling in order to check u r there. also daily visits to the police station to "sign in"
i would also say it would depend on why you have a curfew

In London all boroughs operate a nightly 'curfew car' that completes the checks.

the police can come round to your house to see if you're there when you should be, they may come every night or not at all. if you risk going out you risk being taken back to court, it's up to you whether you take the risk, my son did and was out when the police came, he was remanded in custody because they couldn't trust him to follow the curfew.
