According to the American Kennel Club, there are no types of miniature golden retrievers. Golden retrievers are bred to swim well and to fetch fallen game birds in the water as are Labrador retrievers.

If there is.. They are likely filled with health problems. Generally when people try to miniaturize breeds that are larger, they tend to forget about health, and temperament, proper structure and everything else.. Breeding 2 dogs together merely because they are both smaller in size only destroys the breed.

there are no golden receivers. There are golden retrievers though. Best family dog would be one you rescue from a shelter. They are forever grateful and they know you saved them and will repay you a hundred times over in love.

No. Any Golden advertised as miniature will have genetic defects or will not be purebred. Females are smaller than males though.
There are Goldendoodles, (Golden x Poodle), which shed less and might be smaller depending on the poodle they were bred to.
