When you do a search for this question, or some form of it, it comes up thousands of times. I wonder how many times this question will be asked and answered before the askers realize how it keeps showing off the fact they're arguing against something they know nothing about. All your point "proves" is that you don't understand how evolution works.

NO ONE is FROM MONKEYS except other monkeys! We have COMMON ANSCESTORS who are long gone! One does not come from ones cousin-- we coexist with them.

Hate the idea of evolution all you want but at LEAST understand the most basic elements of it before lambasting it! You only serve to harm your own belief system in the eyes of others when you fight with ignorance. Stop the "back & white" thinking. God and evolution can coexist! One does not have to destroy the other.

Because evolution is different than "morphing." It's small differences from generation to generation that create evolution. Monkeys today aren't quite the monkeys of thousands of years ago.

If evolution is really as baseless as you claim, explain this: You have a tailbone that supports nothing. Why? Whales have detailed finger and hand bones in their pectoral flippers. Why?

The earth has been proven to be older than the claims in the Bible, and we know that life didn't appear as described in Genesis. This of course means that the entire Bible is suspect; if it outright lies about one thing, then another thing, then another... what can you count on as truth? Why cling desperately to anything you can grab ahold of? Hanging on to the God idea is like staying on a sinking ship.

Angry, sweetheart? You think that evolution and the facts that lead to up to probable theory are false because we don't still swing from trees? What you have done in your question here is proved evolution (no more swinging) and said absolutely nothing about God.

Sorry you're having a bad day! I hope a smile helps!

This question was boring the first time it was asked--eons ago. It has been answered. It has been answered correctly. Some of us now respond only to earn the 2 points. Thank you.

We don't come from apes. Humans and apes both evolved from a common ancestor.

(1) No-one thinks that we came from apes.

(2) No-one thinks that anyone thinks we came from apes, except uneducated Christian fundamentalists.
