Pride,self-inflation,so many think they can do things on their own.
But when disaster strikes , everyone wants to talk about God and engage Him in their lives , I have seen it many times.

I assume you are talking about the Christian god. If so, then I didn't find my life's purpose until I broke the chains of Christianity, its fear and threats and unwillingness to answer questions. I am not going to believe something because it's in a book written by a bunch of dead guys who never knew Jesus, and I'm not going to let present-day "leaders" tell me how to think. I can think for myself. I have found true freedom, happiness, and lack of fear since I left Christianity.

a lot of this people don't believe god is the truth our guide for life after many of this people have done what they think is the correct thing and it goes bad for them at that time they are asking themselves how did it not go right nothing in this world is possible without God's will . Turn to God allow him to guide you in your every day life pray to him to give you guidance in your life and you will see the difference He will always have open arms to help you through your need and your purpose in this life

I'm guess it is because they don't believe in God.
Would you turn to a being you believed to be imaginary for advice or assistance?
Try it now: there is an invisible but all-powerful sock puppet on your hand right now. Ask it what is your life's purpose.
Feel silly? Yeah, that's pretty much how people who don't believe in God would feel if they tried to talk to him.

The purpose of life is to reproduce.
Imaginary gods have nothing to do with it.

I'm discovering my life through spirituality and self awareness..why? Because I know the strength that you seek already lies within each of us. This is what I believe with all my heart. Take it or leave it.

Because they think that they do not NEED God. That is a mistake. God allows us to make mistakes. It will be harder for us in the long run. We think that we know all the options, but we really do not.

Maybe because they don't believe that there is a God.
Or maybe because they believe that asking him is a cop out,
because they understand that the journey of discovery is necessary to achieve the wisdom needed to recognize the answer when it is presented.

1. Because there is no god.
2. Because god helps those that help themselves.
3. Because they tried your idea and it didn't work out for them.

Because they want to continue in their sin. They hate god because the god of the bible is uncompromising with sin, and impartial, and infinitely good, with infinite justice. god calls out sin like he sees it, and the sinner (bound in chains by whatever sin he is doing) would rather forsake god's eternal word than change his ways and part with the pleasures of the flesh.
People are so selfish that they do not want to serve a god. they want to serve themselves. They are their own god. So they trample the true god under their foot and raise themselves above god and spit on god's face. Do you think god would stand for this?
