There was an article on the yahoo homepage a few weeks ago about this, but I never got a chance to read it, and have been curious about it.

I agree with "JF" on that if you leave no trace of your self at the murder site then taking the gun with you would be bad you can trace a bullet to a gun and if you have then gun on you and a cop finds it on you then there you go all traced back to you/the killer

I would have to imagine that
a, the gun is not traceable
b. has no prints.

So if you get caught 3 blocks away and have the murder weapon in your pocket that could be bad. That is just logic.
I am not a gangster but logically that would make sense.

cause if you wear a glove then leave the gun, they cant trace you because the glove prevents fingerprints and they leave it so if a cop wants to question you they dont find the gun on you.

You would also have to trash the glove because there would be gunshot residue left on your hand as well on your clothing.
If you didn't trash your clothing you would have to wash it as soon as possible.
