Yeah, but we know its false as
(1) we know forgiveness comes from believing in Christ; most of us have been tasted of some supernatural things after faith in Christ
(2) we have received the Holy Spirit. For all their faith, they do not know the Holy Spirit is God - they think he's Mohammed; an error of extreme ignorance.
(3) Mohammed fits descriptions regarding false prophets

The Koran is
(1) logically plausible
(2) there is lots of reasonably good teaching about morality (not all of it though) so its easy for them to think "this must be from God"
(3) the poetry of the Koran is pleasing, so that seduces the emotions
(4) the reader is encouraged to see himself as an insider, and nasty comments are basically only made about unbelievers; you don't get the criticism of the reader you get with the genuine Word of God. This is very gratifying emotionally - emotional seduction again.
(5) The emotional soothing effects seem to mean they miss the violence of some of Mohammed's words (although obviously some do follow these things)
(6) they are taught that Jesus didn't die on the cross; you can't get God's real involvement in a person's life believing that sort of thing, since they can't be forgiven, and without forgiveness there is not ability to come into God's presence; so they have no "real" to compare with the phoney.
(7) herd instinct. Its hard to break out because of sanctions, so its easier to go along with the herd
(8) pleasing rituals, gratifying to one's pride
(9) fear; people respect force unfortunately

we are so confident because everything can be proven! Islam encourages Science, that just proves that Islam is confident that no scientific discovery can disprove Islam. on the other hand, the Christian belief and Science have been conflicting since the beginning of Christianity., like the house arrest of Galileo and MANY other Incidents. And everything about Islam is exact, it answers all the questions you could have, without the answer being "you just have to believe it"
another reason is that there's is ONE Quran,we dont have over a hundred versions! like possibly a king Suleiman Quran or a New Kuwaiti Quran! that's IMPOSSIBLE! the Quran will never change, no matter where you go or how many different Qurans you buy, they will be EXACTLY the same.
our religion is pure, we don't inter-whine with paganism, or add our own customs. we don't add our own holidays and religious customs, like the Christmas tree, and even Christmas in general, it seems to me that most Christians are oblivious to the fact that Jesus (peace be upon him) wasn't even born on December 25.
we are confident in our religion because we actually know it. We have direct, unchanged evidence.
In our religion, we can be as close to god as we want to be, we dont have levels of muslims. like how the pope or priests or whatever are closer to god.

btw. im a cashier, and at work today , a man commented on my "all-seeing eye" necklace ( which is in no way religious) and said i should trade it in for a cross, and when i told him i wasnt Christian, he said all the better reason. I tried explaining to him, that i believe in God, and in Jesus as a prophet.... but he was in hurry so he didnt stay long. but i guess my point is that Muslims know about the jewish and christian religion because we believe in them. whereas it seemed that other religions know very little about islam..

Islam has its roots firmly established. Islam is the only religion where you get full description of the Lord that you worship. You have an answer for allthe questions. There is no mediator between a slave and Master. Prayers are direct. Holy Quran is the source of strength for faith. The very book is the word of God speaking to man directly which remain in Arabic unchanged since the day it was revealed and each verses are strong enough to bring one into ecstasy and guide one into truth.

because we have proof.

Quran does not say a word about "Faith". You often find this out in English translation but it doesn't say anything about faith in Arabic. It talks about 'Emaan", which comes from an arabic word which means confirmation. Your "emaan" is what you checked on and what you know for sure. Every time when you find out some proof, your 'emaan' grows. Quran doesnt say anything about "blind faith".

That is why I ( a muslim ) have so much faith in my religion because I am confirmed.

====================================

=============================

another reason is that we don't believe in blind faith. Blind belief is what a person pick and choose without any kind of standard. A belief that is accepted without questions, without examining the belief to see if it is worth believing.
Many religions of the world today demand blind faith. That is not the case with Islam.

By far. I don't understand other atheists with their knee-jerk anti-christian complex. I've been watching christopher hitchens' god is not great debate book tour, and even the evangelicals embrace him kindly and with wonderful hospitality. I maintain my antitheist beliefs that all religions are immoral and unsuitable for our species, but their can be no question which one poses the greatest and most immediate threat: islam.

That's because, us Muslim believe in our religion and work with it , we read the Quran believing its God's word that no one can change anything on it and we do what it tells us to do.
We follow our religion and we believe its the true one that God wants all of us to follow and we now all the history about it. As well as we believe in the other religions and the books that came from God but they were changed by humans.

Islam is the true religion of PEACE, LOVE, and CONFIDENCE.
Its the religion that GOD WANTS ALL OF US TO FOLLOW and it will lead us to the truth and the right way to heaven.(In Shaa Allah).

Do you know that there are millions of Muslims who know the Quran from front to back every verse? We have strong faith because we know there is no other then Allah(swt). Our faith is strong because the Quran has not changed. We have historical proof that it has not. I think this helps. We know Islam is the perfected religion and we also believe in the books before the Quran.

Heres a nice story to remember

Once a king called a Jewish Rabbi, a Christian priest and a Muslim scholar. He asked the to present the case for their religion, why was it better?

The priest said the Rabbi can go first because the Jews came first and then the Rabbi, said the Christian should go first. They are argued and then said let the Muslim go.

Ok the king said, why are you right and they wrong. The scholar said, "If the Jews are right, then the Muslims are with them because we believe in Moses, the Christan's are okay too. If the Christan's are right then the Jews are in trouble and the Muslims are right because we believe in Jesus. But if the Muslims are right then the Jews and the Christan's are in trouble because they don't believe in Muhammad." (peace and blessings be upon him)

I got some news for you... I've never known a person to whole-heartedly adhere to a religion that the DIDN'T believe in.

No one says things like:

"well, I believe Jesus is the Lord and Savior, and the Bible is the inerrant word of God... I think I'll practice Hinduism."

or

"I whole-heartedly believe in Krishna, but I decided to practice Christianity instead."

That just doesn't happen. People practice the religion they practice because they do feel it in their hearts.

You have to go by what you actually experience; not by what someone else tells you they experience and you should be experiencing, too.

I believe all ways to reach out to the Divine are valid, and there is no one way or one savior or doctrine for eveyone.

Christians are just as foolish. You have just as much faith as they do. Christians used to kill people in the Inquisition. They attacked Muslims in the Crusades. Now, the Muslims are hitting back.

Plus, it's not the entire Muslim community that is trying to kill you. It's a few extremists luring in people at a young age to believe what they believe.

They believe Allah to be right, and your God to be false. You believe Allah to be false, and your God to be right. Read the Koran some day. It is quite similar to your Bible. Abrahamic religions are all similar. You aren't much different than them; they just desperately want to please their God.
