I'm Orthodox Christian, and we believe that everyone who believes in The Lord is a saint, little 's', but the ones who have faithfully completed 'the race' and have led exemplary lives, we give the name 'Saint', with a Capital 'S'. Not that they are necessarily any better than us, but since they have faithfully completed the course, we hold their lives up as examples for us to look at and be encouraged. Some of the greatest Saints were the greatest sinners, and that can be comforting to those of us still struggling with our imperfections and flaws, and knowing that just as God saw them through and perfected them, He will do the same with us if we are faithful.

The word 'saint' means "set apart to be holy".
As a Christian, you are called to live a holy life by following Jesus. In other words, set apart to shine the light to the world that doesn't know better. Yes, Christians are saints. The Bible was not wrong in calling us that.
God bless.

The Catholic Church's teachings make you think a Saint has to be sinless.
All you gotta' do to become a Saint in GOD's Eyes is to get your Spirit Recreated (Born-Again, Saved) by Asking Jesus to be your Saviour.

I believe that the Catholic church recognizes 5,120 different saints. (which is silly enough in itself)
Are you on the list? I'm thinking no, as you need to be dead for a few years before you can be considered for sainthood.
good luck in your quest

Yes, Christians are called saints.
The Roman Catholic church put a new definition on it, that's all.
