Whenever I tried to do what other people told me I "should" be doing, it didn't work out very well.
I learned I progress much more nicely and contentedly when I am true to my own thoughts/beliefs. Even when I make a mistake, it's not as distressing as trying to live or believe the way someone tells you you're "supposed" to be living or believing.

Well working for other people and trying to fit into the 9 to 5 crowd. Couldn't do it. Wasn't happy. Now I do what I want. Ain't life grand?

We can try anything that we want to , but God says that without Him we are nothing and therefore He is the only one that can show us our purpose here . And we can either accept it or reject it.

I don't think life has a purpose that we don't create ourselves.
