Just wondered if any one on this part of the Yahoo Answers site had actually read the christian bible ?
The first two questions I saw one mis-quoted the lords prayer, the second ask if god had wrote the bible.

You're new here so I'll politely inform you that the great majority of atheists here have actually read the Bible cover-to-cover and word-for-word. That's precisely why they're atheists. Nothing creates new atheists as certainly as a slow and careful reading of the Bible.
If you care about religious issues, regardless of your faith, you're sure to find much to agree with and much to disagree with here in the R&S section. You're certain to learn a thing or two, regardless of your religious persuasion. Welcome to the neighborhood.

So your summing up a whole group on two questions?
Not everyone here is christian either. Its not the christian part of the site. What about the other holy books/.

I think you'll find that most of the people in R&S who've read the entire christian bible, cover to cover, old testament and new, are atheists. Those christians who've done so are so used to words not meaning what they say that they make excuses for all of the inconsistencies, errors, and contradictions.
Hang around. You might learn something.

Of course I've read it, many times. Wonderful mythology. As to who wrote it, that's still under debate by scholars.
