You seem to have hit a nerve. I'm surprised there isn't an Unplanned Parenthood or some such Christian organization out there to handle just this specific need. It seems reasonable.
Edit: Seriously, some chick gets knocked up, wants "help" but she's unwilling to do the abortion - where does she go? Yeah, let's get past the whole "the old man is a drug addict and may not even be in town any more" part. And maybe she doesn't attend a church. If she was a drug addict herself there'd be Salvation Army - but her problem isn't booze or drugs, it's a kid (and yeah, a much, MUCH bigger problem).
Edit: Hey Randy (below), the center *seems* to be in Connecticut and the "directions to center" page is broken. That's useless to the other 98% of the country. I really am thinking something you could get to from anywhere (i.e. a name I could look up in MY phone book in California). But thanks for the ridicule.

How much money do you contribute to the pre and post natal care for women who have unwanted kids?
I have never said if you get an abortion you are going to burn forever. I just say that you should not end a life just because of your mistakes. I would much rather see an adoption than an abortion and everyone here will agree with me on that note...at least all of the sane ones.

Does a Christian's willingness, or unwillingness to spend cash on pre or post natal care affect whether the unborn child is a human being? No it doesn't. It is either a human being and deserves the same protection all human beings do, or it ain't and doesn't, and that has nothing to do with how Christians spend their money.
There's only one relevant question in the abortion debate: is the unborn human?

Abortion costs a lot more than money...it costs a person a life.
Is that the choice the baby would make if it had a say?
Yes, I help with money all the time for my granddaughter. She may not have been expected or planned, but she is the sweetest little thing, and it would have been horrible to miss having her be a part of our family. A life is irreplaceable.

Our church donates part of our tithe money to a local crisis pregnancy center, if I am not mistaken. Since I haven't been to a business meeting in awhile, I am not exactly sure off the top of my head how much is in the budget for it.
Granted, I could also donate my money directly to them, but with so many worthy causes out their (like feeding and buying medical supplies for third world children), I prefer giving to the church (as a one stop shop), which then redistributes to various charities.
Since you asked us, may we also ask how much you donate to charities? Is it a tenth of you income? None of our business? I thought so.
===edit===
In response to the "shell answer man" above, there is just such a center for unwanted pregnancies (link below). Why do people insist on talking about stuff that they know nothing about?

God wants these kids. To God, they aren't unwanted.
I offer support for pregnant women. Their child is sooo important. A real live human in the making.

Certainly a lot more than someone who does not care about other people kids in the first place, such as yourself. Sure, you want to keep your money, and why should you pay for someone else's responsibility, etc. All excuses for not giving a damn.

Well putting money aside , which is here today and gone tomorrow, we are talking about human life. MURDER! Life is more precious than money. Who are you to decide who lives or dies, shouldn't everyone be given a chance? What about the emotional distress that women face after they have murdered their unborn children, it is traumatic for them, are you going to contribute to the counseling that they will need?

Since our church has an outreach to prostitutes to give them other choices in life, homeless people, orphans, school kids who can't afford supplies, parents who sometimes can't afford groceries, ministries to Kazakhstan, Central African Republic, Haiti, and other countries, and since I contribute to my church, I contribute to all of these causes, Miss Functioning Brain!
