Religion is my chosen vehicle for my spirituality. It's how I express my spirituality, and my religious rites and practices and studies helps me to move along on my spiritual path.

So for me they go hand in hand.

I know they don't always go hand in hand, people can be religious without being spiritual at all, or be spiritual without being religious at all.

When you say that spiritual is making things up and following the religious set in stone beliefs are more of the way to go...I believe religion is dangerous and that one should go within to find the comfort or answers they seek. Quit pawning your beliefs on others..it's caused chaos for thousands of years in this world.

None of the above.

Both are pretty much meaningless, but at least religious means following a dogma - spiritual means making it up as you go along!
