I want to get a Brazilian wax because I am so sick of razor rash, but I am scared to... is it terribly painful? Will it swell up and be irritated for days?

Well, considering that I get it done every 6 weeks, I am a pro! For me, all of the hair comes off. You could get a shape if you wanted. You have to first take ALL your clothes off the bottom part of you. Then climb onto a bed/table thing. The waxer asks you to lay on your back and relax. They ask you if you want it a certain way and stuff. Then they put hot wax on your front. Little by little, rip by rip, yell by yell the hair is all gone! If there are stray hairs they take tweezers and pluck them out. Then you open up your legs like your having a baby, but roll a little bit more onto your shoulders so the waxer can wax the hair next to the lips. After that you go in doggie position, the waxer spreads your butt apart, and waxes your hair on your butt. All stray hairs are plucked and you're done!

It won't hurt any worse than any other waxing. It might be a little swollen for a few hours, but it shouldn't be irritated if you have a good waxer who was careful. Use an antibacterial aloe gel if the irritation bothers you.

it sucked, but it wasn't that bad. it didn't swell or anything. it was pretty uncomfortable, but the whole wax was done in about 30 minutes. it was worth it - lasted about 4 weeks. the day after it did not bother me at all. i have fairly sensitive skin too!

I get it once a month and its so worth it. If you take some painkillers it wont hurt as much, but it doesnt really hurt that much anyway. I used to shave, but this leaves it smooth for weeks and guys find it really sexy.

My girlfriend gets it done, and says it doesnt hurt that much. It doesnt cause irritation, just look really smooth and sexy.

wife had it done , now she only shaves
i asked how it felt
she said if she kicked me in the nuts that would not decribe the pain she was in
so now i just have to suffer and shave her carefully

it hurts like hell!!!! but it wont swell up, and it only hurts while you're getting it done. I did it twice, and then i just couldn't stand it anymore. now i just use like hair remover cream, like nair.
