No. It's ridiculous. Sure, practice abstinence if you like, but I see no reason to exalt it to nearly idolatrous levels. There's no need to wear a ring drawing attention to the fact that one is practicing abstinence. To go around boasting about one's sexuality, or lack thereof, is ill-mannered.
For crowning achievements, it's better to look toward the many centuries of Christian charity (not to mention theology, art, music, literature, architecture, or anything else). The silly rings don't even come close.

No, I'd say the crowning achievement of Christianity would be the millions of people it has reached throughout the years and the many countries it has impacted such as the Samaritan's purse program that brings food and clothing to some of the world's most downtrodden, not to mention all of the positive programs that local churches provide to the communities such as homeless outreach(meals on wheels), troubled teens outreach, and not to forget the safe haven law that allows women who can't properly take care of a child to leave it at a church so that the child has a better chance at life.
Big Bang: If Atheist perverts weren't infiltrating the church then the problem of priests doing that wouldn't happen, please ask the false teachers to stop this horrific act, they certainly aren't Christians.

There are many crowning achievements. One is Samaritan's Purse. Another is Vision Trust, a ministry to different children around the world. Most Christian achievements will go unnoticed by the world, because there are a lot of Christians who will never publicize what they are doing.

No, only if you look at it from that one point of view.
Many people are saved and going to heaven , because of what Jesus did for every one of us on the cross.

I don't see how it can be an achievement, seeing how most of the girls who take the ring end up not abstaining.

No. It is not the "crowning achievement". Do you suggest it is a bad thing though? I have a daughter myself. Do you have any kids?

I would say the crowning achievement is grace.
Most of us sinners who are Christian would have thrown the likes of you into the pit long ago. It is G-ds true word which we recite that condemn you, not our own words.
Praise G-d for having such patience!
As far as your "just kidding" goes:
In general, the speech of men reflect the state of their hearts: "The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned" (vs. 35-37). Have your words gotten you into trouble lately? Have you found recently your mouth to be uncontrollably speaking evil? Do not dismiss such lapses as merely "careless words", for "out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks." Rather, seek help from the Lord, by His Spirit, to heal your heart, and purify your mind, so that what comes out of your mouth may be pure grace.
Other than that.. any evidence on what caused the big bang?

Very cultish, don't you think?
Have you ever seen those ceremonies where young girls basically marry their dads and the dads give them the ring? Sheesh!
