If price is an issue, why not consider getting an older Sentra?

I'm just saying, you can usually find a 2004/2005 Sentra for around the $10K mark. They're a lot prettier, if you ask me, and they're still fairly small (trust me, you'll have no problem pulling this thing into compact spots).

Some people think ugly is beautiful. Yarus is just Ugly. Versa is much larger inside and does not look like "Elmer Fudd's car" Many big SUV owners are trading in Yucons Exploiers for versa when the kids go to school and get married. And at 36 MPG can you fault them either six speed or automatic or CVT transmission you will really love it. My only complaint not enough power sockets. Get the fully loaded one and pair your Bluetooth phone.

If you want something that gets up to 36 mpg it's something to consider. It's got a 5 star safety rating and 6 standard air bags. Theres the hatchback and the sedan so there's two styles to pick from. If your looking for something that doesn't cost a lot, I'd go for it. My husband and I own a Nissan pickup and so far I'm enjoying our Nissan and the company.

Well, it got second place in a Car And Driver comparison, which isn't bad.

I would recommend the winner of that test though, the Honda Fit. I like it better, and it looks better IMO.

Here's the test by the way.

I suggest you dont get a Nissan or else you will become a jerk. People who drive Nissans are jerks. There's been a study done on this.

Nissans are very good, but we hired a car when we were on holiday which was Kia Picanto. We were very impressed with it...
