Every time I ask a question about Christianity,why do so many Christians want to damn me to their Hell?

Surprising as it may seem,I don't dislike Christians,as every faith has something worthwhile to offer.It's only the judgemental,evangelical,narrow minded ones I have a problem with!

yh I know what you mean...I am a Christian but some Christians are SO horrible and try to shove everything to do with it down your throat.. not very nice...

In actual fact if anyone is damning you to hell then I would suggest they are living under the guise of being Christian as no true Christian will go against Jesus great commandment.
John 15v12 says "This is my commandment that you love one another" and John 13v38 Says "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you that you also love one another".....All those words were uttered by Jesus. A practicing Bible Christian who is filled with the Holy Spirit will not break that commandment.

Because so many christians arent studied enough to be firm in their faith. All they know is what some man told them. They are just waiting to be raped off the earth(rapture is derived from the word rape). I am a Christian by the way. 90% of claimed christians dont live by what the word actually teaches they take scripture out of context and form it to what they want. All some people know how to do is say well I kont know and i dont understand it so your going to hell. If people studied their bibles they would know that hell is eternal separation from God. The fire is the word of god in the mouths of His prophets. We must all go through the fire to come forth as pure gold. Gold in the bible was the highest form of worship. We must become worship to the Lord Jesus Christ. I dont look for some golden city or streets. How could an incorruptible inheritance be marked by something corruptible. So many try to say the devil did when all they look for is aomething to blame. You dont do it because the devil made you do it, you do it because you wanted to do it. People need to study more. Go back to the greek and hebrew. Study their bible.

Maybe it's because your talking to their human side not their spiritual side - However I have come across a few red cheeked Christians, indeed from other faiths !
With over a billion Christians your bound to come across 1 that can answer your questions without unchristian judgement - maybe after this question is resolved you might post some of those questions !

Everyone saying they are a Christian are not. There are more false Christians than there are true Christians.
Also, those that are loving God and wanting to do what's right sometimes get so frustrated with the repeated blasphem from non-believers and ridiculers who only like to argue and promote choas and hostility that they sometimes bust a seam.

People who are ultimately weak in their faith or have some inferiority issues tend to overreact. That works with Muslims too.
Actually, people with small pets seem to do this too, so I think humanity, as much as Christianity, plays a role. I was attacked for telling people that I think guinea pigs are better than hamsters just the other day. But I was honest. The guinea pigs in Peru just tasted better than the hamsters.

No real Christian would even think of "damning you to hell". The label "Christian" is an easy one to adopt, but a hard one to live up to.

As in any faith there are Christians who are over zealous. I do not believe it is my place as a Christian to judge you. I try to teach love and acceptance to people. The bible says"Judge not, lest ye be judged." That seems to be one of the scriptures that alot of people forget.

Because they are false Christians. A true Christian would reach out in love and understanding and be kind to you. This is how you can tell the difference. :)
