I was away for a camp, I usually don't go to camps but that one enlightens you so much so I went there for a week. Basically, their food was ugh... (I can't accept American food anyway). So, I didn't eat too well.. I suppose... and I lost 8 pounds!
Might this be a disease? I'm secretly a health freak, and we all had to eat in campus, so nothing could have gone better...
PS: I hate American college campuses! All they have is like fatty food and salty food- they serve you a sandwich that's got like 200% of the daily maximum amount of sodium! Why can't they be like in Japan... where they have curry rice, roll cabbage, croquette, etc etc YUMMY! Anyway, sorry for the rant... just can't forgive it..

OK thanks for people who answered it.. except for the 3rd guy/chick..
bc I was really really freaked out about whether I had disease or not and I was just not ready to tell my parents about it.. but yeah, I don't feel tired or anything and I guess I'm just normal except I lost weight! I'll keep myself busy with calories and carbohydrates.. and perhaps more protein...

PS:
Ugh! Sorry for my rant! But I just can't forgive! Why do American campus cafeteria FORCE their kids to eat that kind of stuff! Fried chicken.. French fries... pizza grease... grilled ham... canned vegetables... fried rice with a cup of soy sauce.. YUCK! If not cafeteria food, you go outside for FAST FOOD! Ugh... their goal should be to make sure that the students get the diet that they need and to ensure that they are going to stay healthy in the four years that they are going to spend IN CAFETERIA and to convince students to stay for 4 years there in campus instead of getting out in sophomore year for apartment so they can make their own food.. Sorry, but my taste just isn't for heavy stuff! Why can't it be like in Japan... always proud of my homeland... but it's quite true! I cannot forgive them for MAKING college students eat that kind of food that only fatties eat!

it takes very little to loose 8 lbs of water weight in a week. drastically reducing the caloric and carbohydrate intake results in the rapid loss of water weight as nutrients are metabolized for energy

There are camps where you can go to get your colon cleansed. They are about a week and it's probably pretty grueling. But these camps do clean you out and you will lose some weight. As far as being a health nut there is nothing wrong with that. Keeps the body and mind clear. I eat healthy but a good steak or hamburger once in a while sure hits the spot!
