the advantage of a satellite phone is u can use the phone in every part of the house.like for example there are phones that are expandable or multi hs phones meaning 1 w/c is the main base + 2 extra phones or handset w/c is called a satellite phone and u can put it in every part of the house so that when a call comes in you'll have the convenience of answering the call w/o even going to the main base or mother base to answer that call
